Delicious food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. What more needs to be said? All in all a charming little restaurant, but booking ahead is recommended. The house tomato relish is also amazing.

Loved the Eggs Royal with mushrooms, staff very friendly and food came quickly. Also just across the road from the Hobart model village.

Our tour guide brought us to Richmond for sightseeing and it was about lunchtime. One popular place was overrun by a bus tour and we didn't want to be in a crowd. Our guide suggested Ashmore on Bridge Street and we are so happy that he did. It was great!! Very cozy atmosphere, attentive servers, great food. We had 3... More

This is a popular restaurant in Richmond and caters for cafe style meals and drinks. I had a coffee, which was very enjoyable after a walk around the town. From what I observed, food portions were plentiful.

My wife and I went there on a recommendation and agree with reviewiers that it isn't cheap. With one softdrink and two mains it was $51. I had a cajun chicken burger. It came with the best chips/frech fries I have ever had and a small salad. The chicken was good, but not really cajun (too mild by far) and... More

While walking the street of Richmond, we stopped in for a quick coffee. We had Devonshire tea (with coffee) & my wife thought the scones were the best she has had for sometime. It was quite busy, and looking at the food on offer would be a good choice for lunch too.

The cooked food is excellent, although it is expensive. We spent around $45 for two meals and a pot of tea for two. Disappointed that we could not get any fresh juice. The available juices and smoothies are shop bought bottled varieties. I expected that I could get freshly squeezed apple juice in the apple isle, and would have been... More

Welcoming, warm, hearty. Nice corner location. It was belting with rain the day we can to Richmond but Ashmore was a haven. There were four of us and we shared two Devonshire teas. The scones were moist and the jam was OK but there's better Tassie product around. Not sure the cream was the real deal - but could have... More

Always enjoy our trips down to Richmond and only a 15/20 minute drive down from the Eastern shore/ City. My lovely wife and I took our granddaughter to see the delights of Richmond and specifically to have lunch at Ashmore on Bridge Street. The TA reviews accurately describe the food and service experience visitors will enjoy. We had a most... More
