The chicken salad is very tasty. Lots of Irish items: clothing, food, gifts, jewelry, etc. Fun place to have lunch and peruse.

I had 1/2 Ruben and a bowl of Irish Potato soup, my wife had chicken salad sandwich on wheatberry toast, and my sister-in-law had a BLT club. We all thought our meals were great. The ladies brought 1/2 of their sandwiches home. We met on of the Browne girls unpacking clothing from Ireland. We enjoyed our chat with her. Oh... More

We did the British Gala Festival and now an Irish lunch at. Brownes. We split a good Rubin Sandwich with two sides (slaw and Pasta) and accompanied It with Smithwicks Irish Ale. Did some shopping while there and found an ideal Irish Birthday gift.

Very good Irish food! Loved the Rueben and Irish potato soup! The atmosphere is very friendly and you can shop for Irish clothing and accessories. Always a good time.

This is a real mom and pop place with a great history and seemingly great future. They are a few blocks off the beaten path but it's easier to get here every year. It is a dynamic combination of small town charm and big city cool. The chocolate chip cookies are worth the visit by themselves. They are the perfect... More

I came here for lunch today because of a recent article in the KC Star praising their Reuben sandwich. I love Reubens and was expecting a religious experience with the one at Browne's. To begin, it is mostly a store with a small deli counter and a very few tables. It has an interesting selection of Irish merchandise but on... More

It is a little dive but the food is great. It also has a store with lots of authentic Irish items. I would have liked to spent more time shopping.

Best Reuben sandwiches & Irish marketplace goods anywhere! This is one of the oldest continuously running Irish businesses in America. Five generations later....

Browne's has great people, food and prices. They also have amazing items imported directly from Ireland. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I discovered this place when I first moved here 7 years ago for the Browne's June Irish Street Faire and fell in love with the place, the Elders, the deli, etc, etc. What a great place. Been back several times to eat at the deli-- the Reuben is amazing! And shop all things Irish. It is the oldest Irish family... More
