Very nice pub, clean friendly and attentive staff. Very nice lunch we had the steak baguette with Yorkshire blue but must admit we could not taste the Yorkshire blue.

Delicious roast dinner, generous portions including lovely gravy, Yorkshire puddings and veg. Really friendly, helpful with children and vegan food choices.

Booked for Sunday evening meal with visiting family. Friendly service and atmosphere; food very good, plentiful and tasty for both children and adults. Loved the roast beef. Reasonable price. Will definitely return.

Over the years this place has never failed to deliver. Today’s Sunday lunch was precisely what you hope every pub served. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked and all home made. Simply fantastic food in a great environment.

I don’t think so, it’s a quiet respectable country pub, the very last thing you want is a load of over-excited blokes shouting and hollering as is often the case.
