We were on our way home from visiting friends and happened to be passing The Fox & Rabbit Inn, which looked so appealing, we went in for a meal. On entering, we were given a warm welcome. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. My partner had scampi and I chose the steak pie. The three vegetables beautifully... More

Called into this lovely pub today Tuesday 23rd May, lovely sunny day so sat outside. Hubby had cheese tomato and pickle sandwich which came with a lovely salad garnish, coleslaw and chips. I had the brie starter with a side order of chips. Both meals were very well presented and very tasty and served by friendly staff. All washed down... More

A very busy establishment which would make it a popular local place. We went in earlier during the day and it was pretty full then, so much so that we could not get a seat in the bar area and this was the same in the evening. Small, manageable and pleasant menu with a specials board as well. We decided... More

Like many of the reviewers the staff just couldn't be bothered. Turned up on my wife's birthday . Was told that we could use a table but the manageress was using it to do the books. When we asked her if we could use it she was most indignant and relocated to her office where she should have been... under... More

We went with friends and hadn't booked but were given a table & didn't have to wait. We all had a soft drink & varied meals but all felt it was expensive for pub grub.

We stayed on the CL caravan site owned by the pub, which if you are a member of the Caravan Club I can highly recommend. I had booked a table for 5 on the Saturday night when we arrived, as we was meeting our daughter, fiance and future mothering outlaw that evening for a meal. We turned up as a... More

Called into The Fox and Rabbit on way home after a holiday in Whitby. Having used the pub before I was looking forward to the meal. We had not booked, which was a mistake but did manage to get a table. The food was very good, hot and tasty - But the service was disappointing, would think twice before returning.
