Called in today with my Dad whilst out cycling in miserable foggy wet weather and had the most delicious Rhubarb and Custard cake, Coffee was excellent. Received a very warm welcome and we really enjoyed our visit, we'll definitely be back soon! Thanks :-)

This cafe is a gem.....all the staff demonstrate a real passion for what they do and where they live. It's worth a visit up to Weardale just to visit this cafe.....and to experience what's it's like on the roof of England....fantastic....

My partner and I visited the café today. We had beef burger and falafel burger for our lunch, followed by cake and coffee. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly.

I've been in before and people have brought in well behaved dogs so I'd say they are as long as they are well trained. There is also seating outside too so if your dogs a little excitable then I suppose that's an option maybe More
