Had lunch here with friends with each of us trying something different and sharing tastes. All 5 of us concluded the Reuben was the best ever! The house potato soup was exceptional the onion soup was not s favorite due to a prominent vinegar flavor--unexpected!

I love McGurk's. When I came back to the U.S. from Europe, it was the first place I wanted to go. When I moved to Boston I thought surely there will be a place as fantastic as McGurk's... I mean it's Boston after all, second Ireland. But, nope! To know that there is a place I know that I can... More

Food was very good, I had the Irish Lamb Stew served in a sourdough bread bowl. My dinner partners had Beef Medallions and Beef Stew. I had the McGuire Amber Ale. Everything was great. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and ensured we were doing ok. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely return next time in town.

Blessed with gorgeous and unseasonably warm temps in November, we wanted to find an al fresco restaurant. This was my first visit to McGurks. The patio/garden was a popular choice for everyone. The lunch menu is managable-: good choices but not overwhelming. We had an order of onion rings--just standard beer batter--to share. They came out hot and crispy with... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us! We are so glad that you had a great lunch with your friend. It sounds like you had some great items off of the menu, and picked a delicious appetizer with the onion rings! We look forward to your next visit! More

Went here this weekend and LOVED everything from the atmosphere, service and food. We initially sat inside to eat, then ventured out to the massive garden area. Great choice of beers, big Irish menu selection and just a great place for an evening with friends. The picture is of the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Did not disappoint. Will be back... More

Unlike a lot of people, I actually prefer eating inside the restaurant, rather than out back in the gazebo. I like the dark walls, oldtimey-details mixed with hard-core bar scruffiness...and most of all that this really does remind me of a true "Pub" -- open to all, whether for a special occasion or just a drinking party. Love to go... More

We stopped by for dinner on a whim recently and were seated on the patio immediately. At this time of year the patio is definitely the place to sit, it's like an oasis in the city. I have to say at this point that we were there during the week and it was about 5:30 so I don't know how... More

Enjoyed the live Celtic tunes, their Irish Ale and perfectly prepared steak. Bread pudding was very good too. The outdoor garden was truly beautiful!

As always this place didn't disappoint. Salmon was amazing and the pretzel bites were yummy. Best Irish pub around.

After a disappointing time at a local brewery, my husband and I decided to go get something to eat at a place with a good beer selection. I happened to pull up this gem on Google Maps and I'm glad I did. We chose to sit outside in the garden patio. We got a wobbly high-top table, but we figured... More
