We came down town to the train museum only to find out it was no longer open. So we decided to find something to eat for lunch. All the restaurants in the area did not open until 4-5 in the afternoon. McCormick Cafe was still open for lunch so we ducked in for a sandwich. It was very good and... More

Today I had breakfast with a friend at McCormick Cafe in Billings, MT. I have only been to the McCormick cafe a few times over the years. I have never been disappointed with their food. McCormick cafe is located in the older, but renovated, downtown part of Billings along Montana Avenue. The building is of vintage decor with wood floors... More

Semi cafeteria style, you order at the front and they bring it to you. Rotating menu and local ingredients. It's a lovely lovely place and the people are nice, and the food is reliably good. Always like to see the local art they have up.

Seems like they're now just 'going through the motions'. Pancakes were cold; 'Special' egg scramble was mostly cheap peppers and filler potatoes. It's time for them to get back to caring, otherwise, no reason to go.

Sunday morning the McCormick Cafe is waiting for you! A small menu of wonderful things cooked to perfection. The waffle is served with fresh fruit on the side and whipping cream. The omelet we ordered by filled with meats and vegetables and was moist, not dry. Sitting in the heart of downtown Billings, this is one of the best restaurants... More

A friend and I ate here recently after not having been in for years. She had the stuffed French toast and I had the banana pancakes. I'm not usually a huge fan of pancakes, but these were really good, and so was the French toast (we traded bites :) I'd never had breakfast here before, only lunch, but highly recommend... More

We went for Sunday breakfast and the food was awesome. You have to order at the counter and get your own coffee, however the food was great. Suggestion, they should take orders from the tables. We will try it for lunch also.
