A Butte native & very familiar with Lydia's of the "old days" where it gained its great reputation. The place "just ain't what it used to be!" - Service was mediocre, younger floor staff naïve, older floor staff not terribly friendly or attentive. - No apparent wine steward or person knowledgeable of the bottled wines. - Commercial bread sticks replace... Was our first time here. (Reservations recommended) When we arrived, table was set with our salads (I recommend the house dressing - yum!). With your dinner you receive spaghetti, ravioli, sweet potato salad, meat and cheese tray and desert. All for one price! (Halibut was delicious!) Lovely atmosphere!

Had dinner here with a large group. The food is ok although I personally prefer more healthful side dishes. It seems odd to had have family style dishes of spaghetti, ravioli and french fries.

I have been to Lydia only three times over the space of 30 or so years. I have been impressed with the quality of the meal each time I have eaten there. Prices are reasonable for what you get with each meal.

A very nice place for a relaxing dinner. The deep fried chicken was the best my husband had ever eaten. The chicken Marsala chicken was excellent. The service was average. Would definitely go again.

The dinner steak was out of this world as we remember it 25 years ago. Chicken Marsala was fabulous and chicken cacciatore outstanding. Exceptional service and ambience is perfect. I grew up with dinners at Lydia's with my Grandparents and they haven't missed a beat. Where else can you find a supper-club environment these days? Relax and enjoy fine dining... More

We had 20 people including 5 children on Saturday night, reservations were made a long time ago. We had one frazzled waitress and one bar guy. As a "steak house" they have food on the table when you get there salad, dip, bread sticks, green onions, pickled beets? Then they bring you tasteless plates of spaghetti and ravioli, then you... Lydia's has been in business since before WWII. The first location was in an Italian ethnic neighborhood of Butte, Mt. known as Meaderville. When the Anaconda Mining Co. decided to go to pit mining, the town of Meaderville was actually bought out and became consumed by what would be called the Berkeley Pit. Lydia;s reopened outside of Butte and in... More

Our visit tonight showed us that sometimes in life GOOD things do endure. We enjoyed a very good meal. After tasting everyone's dish, I think the scallops, Parmesan crusted salmon and ravioli were super good!! great service from the bar as well as from our waitress who has been there for 30+ years! I think I remember her terror service... More

We ordered to cold water lobsters 12-16 oz. what we received was one wonderful lobster and much smaller warm water lobster with no discount of the price or explanation. We've not had this problem before. How disappointing.
