We stop here for breakfast every once in a while. The food is good. They have a breakfast special that’s so worth it. Good strong coffee.

No one leaves here hungry. The portions are Montana size (consider splitting) and will keep you going all day. Great hash browns and don't pass up the biscuits and gravy if you are a fan!
The biscuits and gravy were to die for! We also loved the breakfast burrito. Yummy food and a sweet staff. We loved it so much we stopped here twice during our glacier trip!
We had just finished Going to the Sun Road, exiting at the west entrance and were taking Hwy 2 south around Glacier NP back to Cut Bank, MT (where we were staying). There are no eating options on the section of Hwy 2 were were...traveling and we didn't spend the money to eat in the NP. So we went a bit out of the way to get a late lunch. I would call this place a diner. The signs outside are very confusing as the 'newer' sign by the road has The Trap Line Cafe but the very old sign on the building says Spruce Park Cafe. It's the same place. Fortunately the inside is much nicer than the outside. The food was OK. We had a cheese quesadilla which had generous portions and good; hamburger and fries. The fries were under cooked. There was a greasy smell to the air that became more noticeable the longer we were there. To the point that I didn't wear my shirt again and felt I needed to air my coat out to get rid of the smell. I'm somewhat of a picky eater so most items on the menu did not appeal to me. My husband thought it was a really good place.More
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and size portions. The Eggs Benedict was excellent and came with 1/2 a platter of hash browns.
Group ate breakfast there twice during visit to GNP. One in group had notice ratings prior to trip and we weren't let down. Everything was good. Large quantities of food and reasonably priced. Recommend the Chicken fried steak.
Stopped here for a home cooked breakfast before a raft down the Flathead River. Huckleberry pancakes were delicious. The omelettes were filled with lots of ingredients and well seasoned. Prices are fair and it was a great breakfast to start the day.
Our vacation group talked for days about getting chicken-fried steak @ The Trapline Cafe. We were not disappointed!! We also ordered eggs & meat & the avalanche omelet. Everything was exceptional!!
My husband and I consider ourselves fortunate to have found this treasure. The breakfasts we ordered were so generous (we had leftovers for dinner & breakfast the next day). My husband (the irishman) loved the homemade hashbrowns (just like his dad used to make).& I...loved the gravy homemade (just like my dad used to make). Not only a great meal, but brought back many memories of our fathers.More
We were in the park for two days and ate breakfast here both mornings. It was too good to give another place a try! Lots of food, pancakes were huge! Nice local atmosphere with friendly staff!
Diner style. Older place but it was clean. Wait staff was pleasant and warmed up coffee frequently. Large portions. You won’t be hungry when you leave. Would eat here again.
We received this recommendation after a morning of horseback riding at Apgar in Glacier a National Park. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and meals were a fantastic value given the location and prices at nearby restaurants.
Very simply put: huge portions of delicious pancakes, french toast and egg dishes at reasonable prices, and excellent service. Also has free WiFi with great connectivity. Only 7 miles from West Glacier south on rte 2, with gas station and laundromat next door. Check this...place out!More
Understaffed. My waitress had a bruised ankle and many personal problems she didnt filter. But nonetheless, I ran around and bussed the tables for her then sat down and enjoyed the best breakfast in town. I will not eat breakfast anywhere else in the canyon...cept for here. Great Daley's bacon, and over medium really was over medium.More
Yes, I had the chicken fried steak & eggs. It was excellent. My husband ate half of it. Wait staff was wonderful.
