I had several out-of town friends who wanted a nice meal with a relaxing atmosphere. The Alley Bistro provided both. The meal was terrific and we were able to visit and enjoy each other's company in a pleasant surrounding.

Ask a local in Ennis about a good place to eat and one of the suggestions is likely to be this spot. The menu is varied, from burgers to dinner specials like grilled Salmon. The staff provided excellent service. It was a team effort to ensure that all customers needs were met. You rarely see this level of coordination in... More

Mmm... great food in a relaxing atmosphere ... a perfect spot to enjoy a casual meal or a scrumptious birthday or anniversary special occasion. John is an exceptional chef and Margot is one of the best waitresses in the world! Reservations recommended - and ask to be seated in Margot's section! The halibut was deeelicious and Bob's seafood pasta was... More

A big THANK YOU to Norm at the Silvertip Lodge for recommending the Alley Bistro. After a 10hr day wading the Madison River, nothing beats a cold glass of beer and a great dinner. Completely unexpected from a restaurant at the local bowling alley. Cant wait for September 2017 to return!!

While it is next door to a bowling alley, that's the only connection. This is a lovely separate restaurant with several private booths and a small room with a few tables. Even locals eat here. Food was wonderful and nicely presented; good wine list also. Would recommend reservations if you plan to eat after 6pm. We were there on a... More

Wife and I ate here for a lite dinner. I had a dinner salad and a Hawaiian pizza that was very tasty. Wife had a Greek salad that she enjoyed. This place is located next to a bowling alley. Inside is attractive and warm. Booths make dining private. Good service and prices are reasonable.

We stayed one night in Ennis and ordered take-out here. We tried the pizza and a ceasar salad and the cranberry salad - everything was great quality and very tasty! Also great value! Would definitely recommend!!

Loved the pizza and pasta, and the beer selection is dynamite. We had a great meal and prices were fair, though the kitchen was very, very slow. Our server was good and I think the kitchen really made her look bad.

Great place to eat. Saved it as my last night in Ennis, Mt. Service was excellent. Ejoyed my cheeseburger very much. I was surprised to find It in part of the local bowling alley and I guess that is where the "Alley" comes from in there name. However it was a little confusing because another name was there "Fish Bowl".

We ordered take out pizza at Alley Bistro in Ennis, MT by cell phone on our way back from hiking. After we picked the pizza up we then drove 7 miles to the house. We waited for the second couple about another half hour to show up. Meanwhile, we put the pizzas (still in the box) into the oven at... More
