We found the perfect place to wind down with a custom cup of Jo', warm apple cider, or herbal tea of choice, complete with hard wood interior, cozy gathering tables, free wifi access, light fare of soup and sandwiches, tourist information, interesting magazines, available reading materials, and friendly, folksy staff. A comfortable, sustaining gathering place from 6 am to 10... More

Break Espresso is at the North end of Higgins downtown and a quiet getaway for coffee drinkers, poem writers and respite seekers. The space is open, but guests can find private little areas to delve creatively and enjoy a bite to eat and good coffee too.

Stopped here to grab coffee for the road back to Belgrade. The hubby said the coffee was superb and the barista made me a macchiato comparable to Starbucks. Thank you!

I loved this coffee shop. Outside from a slight hiccup with our order, it was a wonderful cup of Joe in a casual and hip setting. I could tell it was definitely a locals favorite. Most folks were settled in for a while and taking advantage of the great coffee and free wi-fi. It was large enough to space yourself... More

The cinnamon rolls here are fantastic and delicious! I ordered a black and white mocha that was very delicious. I love coming here every chance I get and I will always recommend it

I wrote many chapters of my book at The Break, a local coffee shop that draws an eclectic crowd of people. It is a great place to meet friends, relax and read the paper, have a business meeting or go to get inspired. Their coffee is good, they have free Wifi, and the pastries are tempting - even at 7am.... More

This is my favorite spot of a good cup of coffee. They have delicious goodies also. The service is always happy and friendly. The building inside is brick and has a very warm feeling. Brought our friends from Portland here once and now every time they go through Missoula, they always pull in for a cup of coffee at Break!

At Break Espresso in Missoula, Montana- you can find amazing pies and teas or coffees at great prices. Two cups of outstanding Huckleberry tea and one slice of triple berry pie and one orange role cost about as much as two small lattes at the nearest Starbucks. Definitely a must if your stopping by this mountain town.

This bakery/coffee shop occupies a cavernous, high ceiling, brick walled spot in downtown Missoula. The day of my visit the place was full of students from nearby universities studying and chatting in what is a very pleasant space. Service was slow, but the selection of baked goods was impressive. I chose to order a cup of the cafe's drip coffee... More
