This eatery was recommended to us at the KOA. If you want the prime rib - GO EARLY - it sells out fast and it is only on Saturday. The place is very small but the weather was great so we ate outside under the elm (?) tree. I had the end cut of the roast (my favorite as that... More

Friday night is pizza night, at least it was this week! It also seemed to be the night all the neighbors got together at the Northern Lights to socialize. After a pleasant drive from West Glacier, we found space at a picnic table in the yard and had a great meal of pesto chicken pizza and vegetable pizza. What a... More

The road to the Northern Lights Saloon is rough and dusty but when you get the kind of service and food dished out at this tiny out of the way Saloon, it doesn't matter. Five of us ate outside at one of the picnic tables where we were greeted by a friendly waitress who gave prompt and efficient service. All... More

If you want a taste of a Montana back country cafe then this is the place for you. When we were there, pizza and salsa with nachos were the only items on the menu. There were a couple of tables inside but the thing to do is to eat outside at a picnic table you can share with people you... More

A great little saloon in a cute tiny town. Friendly service and delicious Rainbow Trout. For $17.50 we got a fresh salad, fresh bread with garlic herb butter, baked potato which for some reason tasted sooo good, snap peas, and a huge delicous Rainbow Trout. One night we stopped in to get yummy pie to go. Definitely stop in for... More

We were returning to camp at Bowman Lake on a Friday night after driving to see wildlife. Were we surprised to see the amount of people at this tiny, log cabin restaurant at 9:00 at night in the middle of nowhere! We decided to stop for a cold beer and were pleasantly surprised to see and hear a little four-piece... More

The old town small size saloon and cafe was perfect. The food was great. Went there 4 days in a row, one night just for a couple of local brews and 3 nights for dinner and brews. Staff were very courteous, friendly and on name basis. Bob, who was there for 3 of our nights always called us by name... More

This is a wonderful restaurant nestled in the mountains of Montana. The food is spectacular, and the pies even better. The menu seems to change a lot, but I ordered the veggie/chicken quesadilla and was very impressed! Next door is a town Mercantile, definitely worth a visit. They have the best bear claws EVER!

I didn't stay as I just dropped in to pick up a coffee and snacks on my way thru town, couldn't really say if food was good or not as I only purchased a few items that were quick & easy.

This restaurant is about 30 miles north of the west gate of Glacier. There is no sign of life along this 30 mile two lane road. The you come to Polbridge ( a town with a store , restaurant and some camping cabins) and you see this crowd of people out side the restaurant eating and drinking at picnic talbles!... More
