This place serves the best tacos in Grand Island for a very reasonable price. The employees are pleasant, helpful and patient. The restaurant is clean, and easy to get to.

I love tacos: asada, tripitas, al pastor, lengua, chicken, and whatever. Aguas frescas are very taste also: horchata (rice) jamaica, tamarindo, and what about sauces: green, red, etc.

We ate here after watching the Harvest of Harmony Parade. The food was very good. We had a beef soup, carne asada, tacos, rice and beans. Everything was very good. They also gave us chips and salsa, both seemed to be homemade and delicious. If we have reason to be back in Grand Island, we would definitely stop there again.

I always get the tortas here. If you want something authentic this is the place to go. If you want a late night meal you can eat at the food truck they have in the parking lot. This place even has different kinds of meat for an even better experience. I know a lot of people that go here and... More

This is a little diner run by the local folks and it has great authentic mexican. You can have goat, tongue or regular tacos. Enchiladas and other usual suspects are also on the menu. We really enjoyed the home made corn tortillas. As noted, not really any atmosphere, but really great food. It was worth the 10min drive in from... More

This is a family favorite, so many good authentic restaurants in town it's hard to choose. Love the specials, wish they had lunch specials. If you sit down you get really delicious chips and salsa. Certainly not text-mex if your looking for that. My favorite is the barbacoa, yummy!

This is the ultimate hole-in-the-wall. It is in an old strip center and easily passed by. There is counter service the the meal is delivered to the table. The service is a bit slow and the food has a local flair compete with beef tongue and stomach, if you want. I had a beef sandwich, I can't remember the name... More

I got three chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and green sauce. Very tasty. Atmosphere nothing special but good food trumps that any day.

My family who lives in Grand Island suggested Tacos Las Palmas on our most recent visit, knowing how much my husband & I love to eat & cook interior Mexican food. We were thoroughly impressed. The menu is incredibly simple -- choices of a few different meats presented in a few different arrangements. We really enjoyed the Pastor, Barbacoa and... More
