3 of us met for a catch up and something to eat. The food was really tasty and the presentation was lovely. I had the bacon and cheese burger and my friends had the chicken and scampi followed by sticky toffee puddings. The barman was...More

So, so disappointed. Ordered three large fish and chips to take away, something we've not done before despite being fairly local. When we got them home and opened them, they were the tiniest pieces of fish we've ever seen, with a minute portion of chips....More

Two of us stopped at this historic pub for lunch, to find a cheery local crowd, complete with a couple of dogs. Started with a draft Adnam's and a cider, both just fine. The menu looked great, particularly a choose-4-of-6 sharing platter, but we weren't...More

One hour & fifteen minutes is far too long to wait for a lunchtime meal! When the food finally arrived the portions were small & overpriced. This is not the quality restaurant it used to be, so will not be returning.

A spring day, a good group of friends needing a well deserved pint after a hard days fun. This is a traditional pub serving good beer and by the looks of it (we didnt eat) reasonable pub grub...Will definitely be back next year !

We came here for a birthday celebration for approximately 25 people - we ordered in advance and were not disappointed. Many thanks Shaun and Co!
