We chose this restaurant based on reviews saying it had the best food in Nevada. Not by a long shot. Weird that whoever wrote that had never been to any of the world class spots in Vegas. Knowing this place was run by Mennonites we expected a lot more cleanliness in the restroom. We also expected more naturally sourced and... More

You can't beat this place for a hearty homemade breakfast or lunch. Their breakfast burritos are awesome. We've had their homemade soup and cheeseburgers and they're both delicious. They also have wonderful baked goods. The turnovers are amazing. If you're passing through this area I'd recommend stopping here.

Had a very early breakfast. Ordered pancakes and they were delicious. Service was okay, but the prices struck me as a bit high for a small town. Large selection of locally made salsas for sale there.

During several recent stays in Eureka over a 4 week period we had the opportunity to try all of the eating options in town. We found the best breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Deli. Quality, portion and price is the best in town. We had a prime rib dinner special last Friday night that was spectacular. Easily 20 -24... More

We were traveling through Nevada and stopped in Eureka for lunch. A local lady told us that the best place to eat was the Pony Express Deli. It was really crowded but we found a table. The food was quite good, and the waitress was very sweet. It is a family run business and is very homey. The only thing... More

We stopped mid-afternoon on a Thursday for pie. There were no other guests there. Mid-afternoon in a small town on 'The Lonliest Highway' - didn't surprise us. Their pie was great, but then I went to use the restroom. Clearly it had not been cleaned for days or maybe weeks...it was disgusting. It made me wonder about how clean the... More

This might be a difference in tastes, but I had expected better food. We both had the meat loaf dinner, which was very reasonably priced and an enormous amount of food. You had to really like garlic! I do, but this was over the top even for me. Also, the place wasn't as spotlessly clean as I had been led... More

We were recommended this place for dinner by the hotel receptionist. She stated this place is a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch and recently just started serving dinner. After entering the diner, we noticed it was packed, we found out later that this was not due to the great food but, the slow service. Ordered an appetizer and water... More

We stopped for lunch on a long drive on Highway 50. The lady at the counter recommended the burgers, so that's what we each ordered. They were well prepared and tasty. I loved the pretzel bun, really good choice for a burger. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated in an Americana theme, with lovely prints and quaint art on the... More
