If your heading to Penn and Teller then this is a great dinner option. We purchased tickets from the vendors on the strip which entitled us to a good discount. Food choice was plentiful everything was fresh and hot. Prime rib was tasty and well cooked. Chicken Satay and Peanut sauce was very well done.

We first ventured across I-15 about 6 years ago to sample the much heralded Buffet at Rio. We went for the Seafood, which at the time was about $ 40., and told most of our friends and acquaintances how great the Buffet was for the value. Move forward to Jan 17, 2017 and the only advice we have for our... More

My family used to LOVE going to this buffet every time we went to Las Vegas. But the last two times we went (July 2016 & January 2017), I left there being disappointed. They do have oysters on the half shell, little tiny lobster tails, crab legs and all that... but they just didn't taste good anymore. I felt like... More

Went on the weekday for buffet brunch and unlimited mimosa/champagne. The unlimited alcohol was not offered up as a drink choice but figured it out and asked. The mimosas were good and helped nurse me out of a hangover. Crab legs were excellent along with the many other options. Is this the best buffet...No, but was it good, absolutely. It... More

I've been to the Rio Seafood buffet when it was not combined with the Carnival World Buffet and it was awesome. I went today and it was Soo awful. Food was not fresh. Buffet area was dirty. Signs for the brunch items were still on items for Dinner which were different. Seafood was not fresh. Crab legs tasted dirty. Could... More

This buffet has the lot. The seafood is extra, but even if you do not choose it, the regular buffet includes a good selection of seafood. The buffet is broken into sections representing different cuisines. Italian, Asian, Mexican, American etc etc. Then the massive desert bar. The plates are cleared away really quickly, so you can go back for more... More

Came for the all you can eat seafood buffet. I'm rating four stars for the seafood as it was pretty good for the most part. If I had to rate on the other food it was two or three starts. Pretty average and overpriced. Worth going once for the seafood.

Worth the drive and the food was great, paid for the upgraded seafood option and it comes with raw oysters and lobsters. The rest of the buffet had great options and tasted great, the deserts could use some flair but a good experience overall.

Had dinner last night. Not at all impressive. Food in tables mostly over cooked or over soaked or over dried out. Nothing really freshly cooked. Everything just sitting around and not at peak service quality. Examples. Waited for fresh tray of lobster to come out. Dried out. Not hot. Couldn't pull the meat out of the shell. Crab legs at...
