Had dinner last night. Our reservation was 7pm....but we arrived at 7:30.....finding it was more confusing than our group of 4 realized! They had cancelled our reservation, but graciously gave us a table while we waited At the bar. We sat outside...actually better....super noisy inside and dark. My husband had the best Cesar salad in his life. He had the... More

The Pros: 1) Two delicious snowball size meatballs as an appetizer. 2) A large appetizer size bowl of delicious sautéd clams. The Cons: 1) $19 for the meatball appetizer. 2) $26 for the salted clam appetizer. 3) $32 for beef lasagna. 3) Three spreads are presented for use with the bread but no one said what each one was at... Italian food - who doesn't love it? Pricey pasta is a different story. I treated my niece to dinner here during CES. Reservations at my favorite places weren't available on a busy Saturday night. Rao's was recommended, and had a few slots left, so we took the reservation and wandered down to Ceasar's. We chose the meatballs for an appetizer,... More

It came highly recommended, yet we found food and service just average. We had made early dinner reservations since we were going to a show that night and they seemed not quite ready for customers. Our server did not go over specials (but we didn't ask either) and even though 2 of our party had been there before, I felt... More

Had the veal Parmesan. Bone in. Big portion. $54. To get pasta on the side they hit you up for another 6-8 bucks. I hate when restaurants do that. That's nickel and dimeing in my opinion and just pisses me off. For that reason I probably wouldn't go back and would be more inclined to try something different.

Rao's came highly recommended, and we came in with high expectations. I was very disappointed in food that was fairly ordinary, but at a very high price point. I'm sure that there is better Italian food, or at least cheaper fare, in Vegas.

Hearty, honest, Italian fare with generous portions. They sat us next to a column with an obstructed view. We asked to sit at the next table but we were told it was reserved. The table sat empty the whole time we were there. Service was otherwise friendly and prompt. The fact that it's located in Caesars palace is the only... More

We were told Rao's had great meatballs. We ordered those with our entray. My wife had Spagetti Bolganze and I have Linquine with Clams in a white sause. Both were excellant. The linquine had chopped clams and clams in the shell. The meatballs were delicious.

I had veal picata and although very standard in presentation was perfect flavor and great portion size. The room is great and the service was very, very good. My wife enjoyed her's equally. I'm pretty picky when it comes to service and this restaurant has my compliments. I'd go again in a heartbeat. Join me ljmartin dot com author of... More
