This place is a little more pricey, so if you are looking for a great dining experience and you don't mind spending a little more for dinner..this is the place! Our waiter was very knowledgeable, the pace of the food was perfect. We ordered 1...More

I was surprised to find this Charlie Palmer restaurant when we stayed at Grand Sierra. The meat was super high end, the service excellent and the space is really cool as well. Feels much more like Vegas than is typical for Reno. Particularly loved the...More

I enjoyed the my steak very much and the potatoes and raviolis were to die for. Unfortunately I did not like the salad with the mango sauce. Great wine selection. Overall good although a bit pricey

Dropped in for Happy Hour. I was pleased to find a relaxed atmosphere. Waitress that was accommodating and a menu that offered a variety of tasty small dishes. I had the angus sliders and wished I had a larger appetite as there were other items...More

We went o an Thursday around 5:30pm, we had just flew in that day and were on East coast time still. The host staff was okay, a little scrambled, but that may because of the early hour and catching them just as they opened? Anyway,...More

We're "locals." Since the remodeling of the Grand Sierra, they've elevated the experience dramatically. The food-court (featuring Charlie Palmer's) is well done and does a nice job at separating the gaming floor from the dining area. Nice menu, fair pricing (for steak) and attentive service...More

Great service and excellent well prepared entrees. Each dish showed individual care and detail. The large porterhouse steak (36 ozs) for two was delectable. The margaritas were excellent.

This is by far one of the better restaurants I have had the pleasure to eat at. I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Palmer as he was there the night we had a private dinner. He came out and met our entire group, shared...More

I had one moderate size crab cake and a glass of water for $16 plus tax and tip. Everything was ridiculously expensive especially in Reno where prices are much lower everywhere because the casinos subsidize their restaurants. The rib eye with it's big bone and...More

Talk about price gauging! I guess they figure if your stuck wanting a steak, they will nickel and dime you. They place looks very nice, but not worth the price.

I don't know. But usually $20. If you have a host he might be able to get it for you at no charge.

Charlie Palmer Steak Reno in the Grand Sierra Resort is a study in contemporary contrasts, from blonde wooden walls enhanced by mica and leather accents, to midnight blue, deep terracotta and espresso texture fabrics, and stylish booths, featuring natural grain faux leather baguettes, with floor-to-ceiling stretched fabric panels, creating a Mondrian effect. Showing his culinary diversity, Executive Chef Dave Holman, who oversees all the Palmer Grand Sierra Resort restaurants, skillfully mixes the past, present, and future in neo-traditional renditions of steak houses classics, like Pan Seared Sea Scallops & Crispy House Bacon with tangerine marmalade and poultry jus. Charlie Palmer Steak Reno is imaginative resort dining topped off with just the right amount of finesse.
