Excellent service, excellent food, excellent company. Looks like a little hole in the wall but it is a gem inside. Coming back again:)

Food was good. I my opinion it needs a good scrubbing. I like the food but will not return due to the place looking in much need of cleaning.
Deborah, I'm pretty surprised to read this. Our building has a lot of history, but let me assure you that hygiene is our top priority. We have consistently earned 98 to 100 score from local health department in a routine periodic inspection the certificate is in display at the front desk. Give me a call if you'd like to discuss... Excellent change of pace from casino food. Very authentic. Kabob with lamb and beef was well seasoned and broiled veggies hit the spot.
Jim, I'm thrilled you've found everything authentic and tasty! Really looking forward to your next visit. Cheers, Chef Maurice, Owner More
I'm no stranger to Mediterrean food of many nationalities -- some of our favorite restaurants when we lived in Chicago (42 years) and where now live in Northern California serve variations on this cuisine. On the positive side, the dips seemed house made and were quite tasty, and the babaganoush was the best i've had in years. Service was excellent... More
Jim, I'm surprised to hear you didn't enjoy your dishes. Mediterranean food is traditionally very subtle in flavoring -- you aren't going to get very spicy notes. That said, I hope that we can get another chance to find some menu items you'll love. Thanks, Chef Maurice, Owner More
The reviews were great, so we Ubered over to Naan & Kabab during a stopover in Reno on a summer road trip. Perhaps the place was bustling earlier (it's only open until 8:30 on weeknights), but our 8 p.m. reservation had us seated in an almost empty restaurant where the chef spent most of our visit chatting with visitors at... Tracy, I'm surprised you had this experience with us, because it definitely isn't our norm. To start, our server would never switch your your wine for something you didn't order -- that goes against everything we believe in. As for your lamb, we have gotten our recipes down to a science at this point, so this is also surprising to... More
I use to reside near the Caspian Sea and I know what a truly good Mediterranean food taste like. Last good place I went to was back in MN 3+ years ago. Today I found another jewel of a restaurant. This place offered good verity of classic Persian dishes and some seafood. Desserts are pretty good too. I really missed... More
I'm thrilled we can remind you of your time by the Caspian Sea! Thanks for such a kind review, friend. Come see us again soon! Take care, Chef Maurice, Owner More
We always come here when friends want something "different" for dinner. The food always tastes good and the owner always comes out to chat with us about our meal.
Ron, it was a pleasure chatting with you! Thanks for dropping us some words here. Hope to see you again soon! Until then, Chef Maurice, Owner More
I have been exposed to some great Middle Eastern food. I believe Reno has few choices. Across the street from my hotel, so gave it a try. Certainly nicely decorated and the service is good....albeit a bit pushy on the upsells. The presentations are superb....and i give high marks to the veg disges. Meats, not so much. The hummus sampler... More
Dan, I think you were expecting a different style of cooking, as we don't serve Indian food. Our cuisine is Mediterranean, so the flavors and textures are from a different region. Thanks for coming by, anyways! Safe travels, Chef Maurice, Owner More
This is my first trip to Reno. I asked at my hotel for a Mediterranean restaurant and they suggested Naan and Kabab. The menu, service, atmosphere and of course the food were all wonderful. We shared a combination appetizer, and I had the chicken breast kabob with grilled vegetables. It was very nice to have Maurice the chef stop by... More
First of all -- welcome to Reno, Julia! So glad you decided to stop by, and even more glad that you loved your meal. Hope we'll get to see you again soon! Take care, Chef Maurice, Owner More
Had a nice lunch on a Wednesday. Ordered the gyros sandwich which was well done and big. Plenty of parking around, free. If anything I'd say it was good but a bit on the pricey side.
I hope you understand $9.50 for large, unique and top quality freshly made sandwich in a fine dining restaurant I submit is affair price. More
