A quiet venue (except on the weekend when they have a piano player!) for dinner with friends. And a very attentive wait staff.

Have wanted to come here for years. Our son reminded us of this place recently so we invited the newlyweds to join us for dinner early on a Sunday night. Was so good! The newlyweds were way younger than the rest of us but said they really enjoyed it! We all shared so we all got to taste each entree.... More

A nice out of the way place that we will return to. Good food, service and menu. Don't let the location fool you. It is worth a vist.

Sunday eve dinner, casual, quiet, superb service, great food! Enjoyed ahi tartare, grilled prawns, bbq salmon, and almond chocolate tart. We considered ourselves fortunate to have found this great family run restaurant after shopping at the antique mall nearby.

Dark wood, low lighting, old school fine dining. My berry salad was fabulous. So were the grilled shrimp with coconut sauce. My only complaint was our waiter disappeared when it was time to get our check. We had told him we wanted to leave at a certain time to get to a play. For 10 min he did not walk... More

I looked up the place on TripAdvisor and it came up under Italian BUT it really ISN'T that type of restaurant. However, based on the reviews I decided to go because of the raves over Happy Hour. I must admit, it is a very nice place for Happy Hour {5 PM - 6:30 PM}. It's a QUIETER kind of Happy... More

The Gas lamp is a great place for quiet dinner and have the best drinks in town. I have tried cosmos all over the world and this place was the best ever. Cold tasty and easy to order another one. Service excellent, Food was great. Clams, blue cheese bread, huge pork chop and salds cold and fresh.

We were a group of 6 women celebrating a birthday. The food was fantastic. So was the service. The ahi poke was yummy! The pork chops were so huge, everyone split. They brought a warm brownie with ice cream for dessert that was perfect. The background piano music was pleasant.

Casual atmosphere, yet romantic if that's what you want. Piano music on Fridays and Saturdays. Oscar was the best service provider! The food was excellent, service top notch, all around a great place! We'll definitely be back!!

Fine Food and Spirits, Its a quaint little restaurant 11-15 tables excellent service & presentation of food was beautiful, unique sauces, one of their specialties was a 14 oz pork chop! we tried the Rib eye steak that was outstanding, came with mashed root veg.served with a blue cheese garlic butter that melted in your mouth, we also tried Blacken Talapia with a mango glazed served beautifully, I would suggest reservations because you don't want to miss out, yet we did not have one and we were served They have a nice Bar area and will also serve dinners in there. The Gas lamp is a true Gem!
