Wow. How's that for a review? Ok, maybe you want a bit more info... The service is top notch; you always feel like your needs are being attended to, but not in an overtly obnoxious way. Someone is always nearby and available, so you don't feel like you've got to go looking for somebody if you need something. Very nice... More

The most important thing to relate on our fourth visit is how fantastic the chicken in cream sauce with morels was. It was sublime, the perfect cream sauce. I can never get it this good at home. The service was great. They fixed an issue quickly with out a problem. The martinis were perfect. Love this place. What a welcome... More

My mom aunt and I went to Beaujolais Bistro a little later in the evening after we had gone to the Animal Ark to watch the cheetahs run. Beaujolais Bistro is located a few blocks west of downtown Reno in the most charming neighborhood that I have seen in Reno along the Truckee River. The restaurant is in an old... More

This small French restaurant is in a pretty, quiet setting beside the Truckee River, a short walk from downtown Reno. In style, it is reminiscent of a neighborhood bistro in France and the menu features traditional and modern dishes emphasizing local ingredients. We were pleased to find that the quality and preparation of our dishes was similar to what might... More

This is the first time I have been to the new location. Love sitting on the balcony on a warm evening sipping wine with friends while watching people walking near the river. We had the for calamari for an appetizer, which I would personally skip next time. But purists might enjoy as it was served naked. The olives were my... More

This is a wonderful restaurant. The menu and food are excellent. However, for the high prices, we were surprised at the delays in receiving appetizers, salad, and entrees. Our entrees finally arrived an hour and ten minutes after we ordered. The server advised us that it would only be a few more minutes after we waited 40 minutes; it took... More

If you want to get out of downtown and the casinos, this is the place. It's only a few blocks but a world away. The Bistro is located on a beautiful tree lined street across the from the Truckee River. We had an excellent beat salad with a perfect slice of orange. The vegetarian dish in phyllo crust with risotto... More

This was my second visit, and will definitely be back. This time I had a soft shell crab special (available as an appetiser and entrée) and the Cassoulet. Delicious but quite large! The service and location are great, and a welcome relief from the casino restaurants.

It's been quite a while since we visited this restaurant when it was at the old location closer to town. We had fond memories from the past and looking forward to the experience. The food quality and experience was somewhat of a disappointment. The menu had quite a bit of "game" items rather than traditional items we expected. My wife... More

Chef Bill Gilbert's charming French style bistro in downtown Reno celebrates authentic French cooking as well as modern interpretation of French cuisine.

We serve Niman Ranch beef, lamb, and pork, Liberty Duck, and much of our organic produce is sourced locally including wild and exotic mushrooms from Connie Green.

Our extensive bar and wine list is available early for your pleasure. Outdoor seating is also available seasonally. Private dining arrangements are available on request.

We are proud to be voted "Reno's Best French Restaurant" for over a decade, and "Reno's Most Romantic Restaurant" in 2014 by the Reno News & Review.
