There is no denying the food and drinks are above average here. My problem is that I just don't like paying this much for food. If you have a big food budget or are "eating on the company" . A great place

I'm disappointed they are no longer open for lunch but their happy hour and dinner menus are great! Good value for what you order. I would eat here everyday if I could!

Everyone raves about this restaurant, but I don't really understand why, as our dinner was not very good at all. Our waiter was pretentious, and looked down his nose at our wine choice. I had the horseradish crusted halibut, which was dry and overcooked. The...More

We had a lovely dinner here tonight. My husband had the ahi which I coveted, I had grilled prawns, and our companions had salmon and chicken parmigiana. We were all quite happy with our dishes which were beautifully served with wild rice and vegetables. Our...More

The restaurant is elegantly casual, with bright natural lighting throughout. The selection of seafood is excellent, and all fresh ( not fresh frozen! ). The escargot was amazing and the Halibut was perfectly prepared. It seems the Chef is open to altering the menu to...More

Rapscallion Seafood House and Bar is an independently owned and operated seafood and steak house. For over 40 years this local landmark has been setting the bar for Reno's culinary scene. Rapscallion was the first restaurant to win the wine spectators award of excellence and continues this tradition today with a wine cellar packed with premier wines from around the world. The Rapscallion has been newly updated and the iconic stained glass bar continues to please with one of Reno's longest happy hours six days a week. The menu features seafood flown in daily and Certified Angus Beef. A knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff look forward to making your next visit to Rapscallion a memorable one. With three private dining rooms and an unrivaled interior it is easy to see why Frommer's said "Rapscallion has been voted best seafood house so many times they might as well retire the award."
