Stopped by for breakfast before heading home from South Lake Tahoe. First time we didn't have to wait to be seated. Such a sweet gem! Ambiance is old school diner, with great old photos of the area, warm and cozy. The food is traditional and well made. Great flavor, very affordable. All the staff were welcoming and attentive. I'll definitely return.

Recommend for breakfast but never had a lunch here. Have never been disappointed with the service or the food. Generous portions, well prepared and agreeable quality. Nice to have near Kingsbury Crossing, just a few minutes walking distance.

This is a small restaurant with good food and limited parking. Get there early. or you will most likely have to wait, at least for breakfast.

Great breakfast at the foot of the Kingsbury Grade. Small, unassuming, good food at a good price point.

I've never heard of Red Hut Café before this visit. It's a smallish restaurant that looks a little like an old school house. We visited for breakfast. The waitresses seem to be college girls working for the summer and are very people-oriented. The breakfast options are very plentiful and are generously portioned. I had ham and eggs. The slice of...
