Virginia City Jerky Co was our first stop in our visit to Virginia City and we're glad it was! First of all the jerky was delishy. But secondly, the young lady at the cash register was very helpful in directing us on our day. She also offered a few bits of city history that were fascinating. A great way to... More

OK, we were starving by the time we got to Virginia City, checked into our hotel, and started looking for a place to eat. We were expecting average food somewhere, but asked a local who directed us to the Virginia City Jerky Company. This place was fabulous. You stand in line and order. The staff were super-friendly and knowledgeable. After... More

Excellent pulled pork sandwich made on site. Jerky is good too. Service is good, great place to go for a quick lunch in historical Virgina City. Closes at 4 so if you want it for dinner you need to take it out before they close.

The pork BBQ sandwich was probably the best I have ever had because it was smokey tasting without a lot of sauce. You could add more sauce, but you don't need to. The bun was not a grocery store lame run of the mill bun..it tasted like someone had baked it in their own stove at home..and toasted...do not miss... More

We stopped here on a whim as we walked around the Virginia mining town. We ordered the smoked tri-tip sandwich. Excellent! We had the coleslaw as a side dish, and a cold beer. Outside and inside tables with a nice view. They offer BBQ pork, beef jerky, and beans. Great for kids, inexpensive, fast, and very casual.

Located at the end of C Street, we stopped by after walking through town on one side of the street. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The menu is limited but offers something for everyone. The smell of the BBQ outdoors is a great way to lure people in. The tri tip sandwich was amazing and with a side... More

We ate lunch here and had BBQ pork that we ate outside, washed down by a bottle of good beer. The cole slaw was a nice contrast to the pork sandwich. Business is brisk, and you stand in line until your order is taken.

This restaurant is just at the entrance to town. Walked all the way through town to find a place to eat and decided this restaurant sounded the best and returned to it. Believe them when they say spicy on the menu. My husband who usually likes real spicy enjoyed it but admitted it was a bit too spicy for him.... More

Not the best I have had, but when it comes to ribs, I am very picky. The sides were also pretty good. The coleslaw is a creamy vinegar slaw, so it has a bit of a bite. The baked beans have a very smokey taste. So I think it depends on what you like.
