It is the environment that turns me off. I've been back five or six times with friends who love it. Pastries and coffee are very good. It is noisy & cramped. People sit there for a long time, as is typical of coffee shops but then there is not enough room for three people to sit together.

With Dover, NH's share of great coffee offerings, Adele's may be the best, located on street between Public Library and City Hall. Best coffee? You decide. You shouldn't pass it up.

We went to Adelle's several times - very friendly staff and great coffee. Parking nearby is no problem.

We were visiting the area and googled to find this coffee shop. Coffee here is amazing - smooth, deep, sweet. Layers of yummy flavor in coffee while not watery or burnt like many other coffee shops. As good coffee as what you find in a coffee country like Costa Rica, yet different. Stop by if you're in the area!

Coffee, muffins, bagels, nothing too different. It does have a cozy atmosphere and it's open early in the morning.

Love the black coffee! I'm an all day coffee drinker, and nothing else gets me through the day like adelle's! Very inviting setting and a very kind staff!

I have always loved Adelle's. Our love affair is no secret, though; I urge everyone to visit the little coffee house. There's nothing better than a local coffee shop, and they do it right. Their baristas make every drink with love and care, and you can taste the difference it makes. If you're looking for a great coffee house, go... More

I've had espresso drinks here a few times, and it's consistently good. The place has a nice vibe that appeals to 20-somethings. It's very casual, cozy, and friendly. The small selection of baked goods is pretty good, too.

Love this place - it is quirky, cozy and inviting. Their cappuccinos are heavenly, there is a great selection of heavenly baked goods, and their bagels are fantastic (I never need to ask for extra cream cheese). Very friendly staff. Love it!

I appreciate this coffeehouse because it is LOCAL. So many coffeehouses have closed. I am glad they are still here. Good coffee and service. Music in the background. Nice places to sit. Clean and comfortable.

Description
I was sitting in Cafe on the Corner one day in Dover, and was as displeased w/ the place as I could get...service isn't so great, prices are high for so-so product...

That's when I checked my Aloqua app on my Droid and read all the good reviews about Adelle's and decided to give it a try...

The truth is that it lives up to all the good reviews other yelpers have given it!

It's a small coffee house...but has a big heart! Service was FAAAABBBULOUS! my mocha latte was SUPERB! And the baked goods looked wonderful...if I had time to try them, I would, but I will save that for my next visit!

I loved the personal/local touches in the place the best...it will definitely be the place I go to get coffee every week while my son takes guitar lessons @ Earcraft...Cafe on the Corner has lost another customer!
