We are local and have had dinner here and have also ordered the pizza to go. Food & service are good, but it can get busy during the winter & summer.

This a sort of diner, just off exit 38 on Rte 93. Very inexpensive & casual. My standard order is the grilled veg sandwich & theirs is the best, no kidding. My husband always gets the quesadilla. Don't bother with the fish & chips bcz there are better choices. Salmon is excellent. Friendly local-style service. Love this place.

I felt like 15 years had never passed...Nothing has changed. In fact I think my lunch was left overs from 15 years ago. Service s l o w...Waitress nice but visibly tired at noon. 8 dollars for left over Mac and cheese and sad chicken strips.

I was here with two teen boys so we could keep warm while waiting for my husband to arrive with a spare car key. There is a pool table by the pub eating area which kept the teens happy. I had a bloody mary which was good, boys had burger and boneless wings. All good. The main reason this place... More

While staying in Franconia on a Cannon ski weekend we tried what we thought was a local dive. Dutch Treat was fabulous. Awesome hangar steak. I love it but have never had it braised. Cut with a fork. We will definitely be back.

Great food in a rural town. Friday nights have a great vibe. Live music some Saturdays. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. ❤️

Against my better judgment I went with the filet Mignon instead of a burger. I ordered it medium and it was past well done. I could hardly chew it. It also came out as medallions. Three of us ordered steaks and we all had the same experience. One of the worst, if not the worst steak I've ever been served... More

We stopped at Dutch Treat for a quick lunch during our visit to Franconia Notch Park as this is the first place we could find in quite a few miles. Place is far from being fancy, but it was clean and comfortable enough. Food choice is limited, but again we were there just to grab a bite. Sandwiches were not... More

The weekend my family and I visited was very busy. We were just looking for a good lunch--nothing fancy--so we stopped here for a quick burger. The burgers took about 20 minutes and were cooked all the same--well done (charred, really)-even though we had asked for medium and medium well. If a restaurant can't produce a basic burger, it's not... More

They say you can't go wrong if you go where the locals go, and it's true here. The food is not fancy, but it's good, as are the service and prices.
