First visit to McGuirks in 2016 was good, as is typically the case. McGuirks might not be the fanciest place on the beach, but you know you're going to get a quality meal there most times when you show up. On this visit we sampled the Lobster Roll and Lobster Caprese Salad. The lobster roll is outstanding. Good lobster salad.... More

We spent sometime down at the pub and the service was great, we didn't eat but the atmosphere was what it should be in a pub. We love music and it was hard to hear the jukebox.

We weren't sure what to order so we sent with the Special. The taco salad was large enough to share. And it was DELISH!

We have never tried McGuirks before this year and decided to check it out for dinner. My impression was that it is a very popular place for a reason. But our food was just so so. We ordered stuffed mushrooms that weren't even cooked all the way and too dry. Our entrees were the prime rib, linquine with clams and... More

Just down the street from the Casino Ballroom, McGuirks is a very nice place to get a bite to eat. If you want fine dining or just a quick meal, McGuirks can fit your needs. With a full dining room upstairs, we chose a seat in the downstairs bar. While both the beach and the restaurant were packed, service was... More

I have visited McGuirks many times and find the overall experience to be positive. The restaurant is a seasonal venue with a heavy emphasis on seafood. This is not a cheap place to eat but for an occasional night out it is worth the higher prices. I have had several different entrees and they all have been very good. My... More

We stopped in because of the $10 specials before 7pm. The choices were Ok but a lot of the same and not exactly what we expected - bone in fried chicken, pork loin, meatloaf, some kind of salad, taco salad, liver and onions. Not really what you want on a really hot day at the beach. The kids meals were... More

Took way to long to get food out no wonder their was nobody in the joint on a Friday at dinner time other than two people. Food was terrible. It was not fresh, it was definitely frozen. Why they can't serve fresh seafood is amazing to me it was terrible 20 years ago and it's terrible now and way to... More

After walking the boardwalk looking for a place for dinner we ended up at McGuirks and we were glad we did. We sat downstairs and had a drinks and dinner while enjoying Touchtunes. Our server was great and attentive and took care of 8 ladies without issue. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the drinks were perfect. We are glad we... More
