Very good good, good portions. Waiting area very tight and dining room also tight in between tables. Portions very good. A bit pricey...four people, no drinks, no apps $120. Good service! Historical place. Will return.

The main dining room has nice fireplace that's usually burning on a cold winter night. It's a true New Englan atmosphere. Good food too!

I've eaten at the Old Salt probably 10 times and always had a great meal. Appetizers are consistent, we love the chowder, nachos, and stuffed mushrooms in particular! Seafood is super fresh, but you won't go wrong with other proteins. We'll be back many more times. Oh and check out brunch! It's a little pricey, but worth it.

Still great after all these years. We met an old friend here. He had a fried shrimp platter, we had chicken fingers. Both excellent, and priced right. Nice homey atmosphere as well!

Never disappointed. Good food, fast service-great place to hang with friends. Seafood always fresh, restaurant and facilities clean. Sunday brunch will knock your socks off.

My wife & I went here for lunch. Heard it was OK & decided to try it again (more on that later). She ordered a cheeseburger, I had chowder & salmon burger. Chowder was very thick, tasted more of a roux base than potatoe. Also not much flavor. I think it was the same base but with different seafood put... More

I'm here with the spouse. She had beef tenderloin and lobster tail. She likes it. I had the mixed grill. The steak tips were chewy and the chicken was like shoe leather. The green beans were undercooked. Atmosphere is fine and service is friendly and fast. All in all a mixed experience.

Nice menu with a variety of foods. Great for family dining. The food is good. The waitresses especially in bar aren't friendly. They need to retire! Rude. If your looking for a place to bring the family, it's perfect in the main dining room. Be sure to try the Sunday buffet!

My husband and I recently learned of this gem and decided to check it out--and we are so glad we did! Although the building is located on a busy intersection, there is no problem with parking at its huge parking lot. We entered a cozy and warm atmosphere, with a giant hearth and fire blazing with relaxing music playing. Our... More

We went out for dinner at 5:15 PM on the Sunday of a holiday weekend. The servers were awesome! We have an 8-month-old, and an 8 and 10-year-old. The food was excellent and was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. It was just a laid back evening with phenomenal service! Will definitely be back!
