Whether you're fishing or hunting or just out and about, you go to the Buck Rub Pub!! It just feels like home and everyone is amazingly friendly!! You get what you want and you get it good! Hot meals come out every time, drinks are cold and if you don't want ice they don't look at you funny. I LOVE... More

We were staying at Tall Timber with friends and were looking for a place to eat nearby - this place was very close by so decided to give it a try and very glad we did! It was around 6:00 pm on Columbus Day when we arrived and the place was very busy. We did manage to get a table... More

Stopped into the Back Rub Pub for lunch and was not disappointed. The beer was cold and the food was good. We had the Nachos and shared a burger and both were yummy. The decor is cabin/lodge, we sat at a table at a table with two deer heads above us. Loved it.

Food was good and plentiful. The place had a huge menu The service was quick, and the waitress was very good. Very busy place which also tells you that it ranks high with both locals and tourists.

Place benefits from being one of the only places around. Decent food, slower but friendly service. Just average pub food

Nothing like enjoying a great meal in a warm & friendly atmosphere after a day of play! This is a regular stop for us and a local hang out for our friends. Large menu and full bar - local waitresses are always friendly and accommodating. Great for drinks or dinner with the family!

Great choice after a day of playing in the North Country. Seemed like a good mix of locals and travelers. We were hungry but also wanted to see the Red Sox playoff game and the guide recommended the Buck Rub. This was a good choice for both! We were lucky getting a table at 6:30ish with lots of people waiting... More

Place was quite busy on a sat night, wait wasn't too long and food was good. Has a great log cabin up north vibe with deer heads mounted on the walls. Famous for their pizza which was good. Menu has just about everything you could want. Definitely something for everyone here.

In a word, Awesome! They have the best menu and the best food in the area. Fun, inexpensive and even though it's a pub, family friendly. You can't go wrong eating here. The steak tips are to good for words and the clam chowder is better then you can get on the coast! They have a freindly staff and the... More

Friends and I always enjoy visiting the Buck Rub Pub when in the Great North Woods. There food is delicious and the Buck Rub Brown Ale extra special. Marty was our server. Very pleasant and we enjoyed our conversation. She can write her orders without looking at the pad! She also was kind enough to make a reservation for the... More
