Arrived on a Saturday night, place was very, very busy. We had reservations, so after a half hour or so we were called. Atmosphere was comfortable, but a little casual for the prices being charged. Bread/butter served at the table was average fare, would have preferred dipping oil of course. Menu was extensive, our party of four settled on various... More

Our Italian loves the colosseum! It is hard to find homemade Italian food (especially fresh pasta)! The boys especially love their Alfredo! I am personally a fan of the eggplant parm. They have great happy hour specials. While it is not super fancy inside, it is so nice not to have to use paper napkins! The service can be a... More

Went here for Mother's Day a couple of years ago and they just don't care. They put me out in the middle and no one waited on us for the longest of time. My husband was upset because he thought he was doing something nice for me but it turned very, very badly as all we did was fight the... More

My wife and I drove for an hour and thirty minutes to briefly visit a shopping mall and primarily to have lunch at this establishment. It was worth the trip. The service was not exceptional but functional. We ordered two pasta dishes, one with a garden salad and one with a caesar. My caesar was quite good-crisp romaine and good... More

Great place! If you haven't been by lately, the restaurant was renovated Summer/Fall 2012 and looks fantastic. Modern decor, open floor plan - great bar ;-) The sangria is delicious (awesome flavor but also packed with yummy fruits when the booze is gone) and on Thursdays they have $5 martinis at 5pm! The best part, however, was the food. Delicious.... More

We've been here several times - once even for my daughter's rehearsal dinner - the food is delicious and the service outstanding - red roses on Valentine's Day too! They also have gluten free pasta which pleases my daughter. The owner is always in evidence and everyone works as a team to make your experience memorable. I highly recommend this... More

My wife and I stopped in on a Friday night and found The Coliseum to be almost empty. An Italian restaurant has jumped opened down the street and it is obviously taking some of the traditional strong business away. The service was good and the hostess was friendly but the food was much less than I expected. I had a... More

Consistently good Italian food. Not an everyday restaurant on our budget, but for a special event, when you want real Italian, you can't beat it. It's almost as good as my mother-in-law's cooking... I almost like it better because it's more varied than hers, but my husband would strongly disagree. She was born and grew up in the Neapolitan/Amalfi Region.... More

The menu had tantalizing descriptions and a note from the owner about fresh ingredients and cooked to order meals. The reality was disappointing. The wait staff was inexperienced and seemed unable to even take drink orders. The Caesar Salad made in front of you looked impressed, but was soggy. We ordered a $20 bottle of wine and they returned to... More

my husband and I met family here for a "special" evening out. Our 1st and last overpriced, very average meal at this restaurant. the food wasn't bad, it was just blah, We had heard this was the place for fine Italian cuisine. Nah, My husband I make a better, more flavorful meal than what we were served here. Next time... More
