Was staying at the Mountain View Grand and less than happy with the meals when we saw this restaurant on our way back from a day excursion. The reviews were so right! It was quite busy and even though we were told it would be a half hour wait, the hostess made a table ready for us within 10 minutes.... More

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening. Nice tavern feel, attentive and friendly staff. Food ( I had the rib-eye, my wife the salmon ) was good. Recommended.

I was here (my first time) for a work related function. The candied maple bacon fries were delicious and enough that I could have eaten just that as my dinner. The chicken "so gouda" was okay, not what I was expecting. I thought it was have some taste to it, but it was very bland. The crème Brule was divine.

Was staying at the Mountain View and found the food pretty terrible there so tried the Inn. So glad we did! Ate in the pub. The owner is super attentive and you can tell she cares about her customers. Had the Chicken So Gouda, Steak and Cheese and a couple different burgers. All were melt in your mouth yummy. Was... We did not have a reservation, but since it was fairly early we found seats right away. Most of the people there seemed like regulars who ate there all the time...the wait staff knew them all and remembered what they usually ordered! The Menu did not include children's selections, so they recommended that we order from the Pub menu for... More

So glad to have seen the great reviews for this place, it was well worth the drive! Great food, wonderful service, nice atmosphere. We were actually surprised how small our bill was too. The mushroom ravioli was amazing.

We recently had dinner in the pub room of this inn and really enjoyed the meal, the great tap selection, and the friendly and welcoming staff. We were there on a Wednesday evening, which was Trivia Night, and enjoyed playing with and against other teams. It was a great way to make separate travelers feel connected. They have both a... Honestly the place looked deserted from the outside. Not very well lit at night and had a haunted appearance, sad to say, so we kept driving only to find not much else in the area. Went back and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise when we walked in to such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The... More

Joanne is the owner and head chef here, and she runs a tight ship, both food and service-wise. Summers are her busy season, with the acclaimed Weathervane Repertory Theater adjacent to her place. But all year long, she serves up her fine cuisine at affordable prices. The staff are carefully screened and trained. They remember you from when you were... More
