Delicious and plentiful, yes - this diner truly is “Jumboland” at a very reasonable price The Eggs Benny were almost a double and the egg sandwich on an English muffin was overflowing

Beware of prices being different than what the owner advertises. We told the waitress about the price difference, but it didn't matter because we were still charged the higher price. We have been going there for many years because the food is normally good &...we usually get a great waitress. Our waitress tonight was a jem. See pic below of the advertised sign for the prime rib dinner/5 pieces of shrimp. Then see the pic of the bill showing the price hike of the prime rib dinner, which wasn't a prime cut of meat, and only came with 2 pieces of shrimp. The salmon over spinach dinner was delicious.More
Breakfast, lunch, dinner been here for all. Food always good, large portions with fair prices. Great that they open really early.
Breakfast stop at this local diner. In NJ there are small diners all around the area. This one started back in the 50's. Not sure if it the same location from back then. Anyway the service as good and my order came out fast. I...had the "Taylor Ham or also called pork roll" with French toast and eggs. The portion size was huge and cooked perfectly. Price was reasonable for area. Plenty of parking in huge lot. I recommended this place. It's also good for families to stop and eat here.More
Driven by here since I was a kid (62 yrs young) and NEVER ate here. Do remember eating at the Stewarts by the DQ eons ago but never here. Met my sister from Milford and took my 91 year old mom and the food in...NJ can’t be beat. Never got to eat where the “duck was king” Ate at I believe is called mountain house by Appalachian trail back in the 60s. Oh man the Walpack inn was the bomb. And Jorgensens Anyway enough of nostalgia, great diner food here.More
We love the food and the service. Me and my entire family of 8 order food here all the time. Friendly people and great food!!!!!
Hiking the AT - we ordered online and asked to bring food to picnic table (like other customers sitting nearby) Five minutes past our promised time, no food. Went up to window and rang bell, food was sitting right there. Rude server made a face,...handed it to me with no word. Got to picnic table - no toast, ketchup, or salt. Had to go back up to window - again food sitting there. I ask for the toast, he makes a face and hands it to me with no word. "Can I have ketchup and salt?" Same. Terrible service!! And I think he was the manager!More
Great place to stop in for some breakfast or burgers. Nice portions and food was good. You can get breakfast all day which is great. They have a large choices on their menu. Place is very cozy.
I ordered 3 eggs plus choice of two (ham, bacon, sausage) $8.98. Arrived with no meat. "Is everything OK?" No it's not - I asked for bacon and sausage. The server brought them out on a separate plate. The bill was over $12. She had...billed the bacon and sausage separately. $3.75 EACH. I asked the cashier to correct it. Showed her the menu item. She finally understood, then disappeared. Came back with a new bill. It was STILL too high. She explained "breakfast and coffee". BUT I DIDN'T order coffee. Three times I was asked if I wanted coffee, and three times I said NO. Disappeared again. Finally got it right. Paid. She disappeared a third time to make change from a cash register in the back. All together, I spent over 10 minutes standing at the cash register. All the cashier would say is "OK?". Never "I'm sorry". Or the customer-friendly right thing "We messed up. I know your time is valuable. Just go. The meal is on us." This at 10AM. No crowd. Staff sitting around chatting with each other. I used to stop 2-3 times a month. Never again.More
They have great specials. The salad bar is excellent, and it comes with most dinners. The Ice Cream Parlor is great.
Stopped here with a group. Its a small diner, has a decently optioned menu, but I wasn’t a fan of the food. Due to reading some poor reviews, I opted for breakfast for lunch hoping it was a safer bet. I ordered a western omelette...with home fries and the home fries were burnt. Omelette was ok. Had a milkshake to wash it all down which was decent. While the motorcycle ride out there was nice, I wouldn’t eat there again, maybe just get ice cream.More
I cant rate them on the food, but from the looks of the window sill, there was more than just us eating there. Had a 1/2 cup of coffee when I noticed the old cobwebs, and dead mosquitos. I told them I wanted to cancel...our order because of the dirty sill with old dead insects. Not even an apology. Paid for the coffee and left. Never again.More
the food was great and the waitress was very attentive although the place is small but the atmosphere is great
We stopped here for lunch. The table was sticky and when I told the girl, I was handed a rag with bleach. She did offer to wash it after she handed it to me. The menu was also sticky. The food was awful. Three of...us got the steak sandwich on garlic bread which was a poppy seed roll. The steak was like shoe leather. Two more got cheesesteak which was dry and some of it actually burnt. The chicken fingers were over cooked as well. The fries were so overdone that they were rock hard. By the way, we had to pay EXTRA for the fries bc we wanted (burnt) curly fries. Maybe turn the heat down in the deep fryer. Just a thought. Needless to say, this was a terrible experience and we will not be going back. Save your mo why and your stomach and go somewhere else.More
Excellent service; selections on breakfast menu suitable for all tastes. Prices very reasonable. During the week their daily dinner specials including salad bar, soup, entre and desert are exceptional and reasonably priced. A local favorite.
