If you want a great roll, go to Aversa's. Baked fresh every day, sometimes I get them still warm. Delish...! Great variety of take out snacks and pastries. Ps.. they only take cash though, which can be inconvenient if you didn't know ahead of time.

My wife & I had heard so many great things about this place, so we made it a top of the list place to go. Well, perhaps we missed the "out of the oven" hour, but we both had stale cinnamon sticks, and I had a stale apple Danish. Unfortunately we had already left and were back at our hotel... More

I had to check out this bakery while vacationing on Brigantine Island and found it amazing. Lots of Italian pastries plus great take out food. Easy to park and the help is so friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high..... neopolitan's and lobster claws around 4.50 each .... very good pastry

We are eating in our resort unit today and stopped to pick up some pastry. Very large selection of pastries, cakes, pizza, freshly baked bread and some prepared foods. The pastry items are generous portion but not cheap. I think they are worth every penny.

It was Labor Day w/e and we drove from shore point to shore point trying to absorb all the last days of NJ summer. From OC, NJ to AC to Ship bottom to Brigantine and LBI . . . . we decided to stop at a few places and see what they offered. This storefront had a lot to offer... More

Figured we give this place a try as it received great reviews. The pinole cookies were awesome fresh and delicious. Also the apple turnover was moist and delicious. My favorite however was the sfogliatella, crispy and baked to perfection, reminds me of the time as a teenagerI worked in an Italian bakery:) Service was great as well!

Bread is delicious and the cheese pockets are worth a long drive. Clean, friendly and just what the town needs.
