Been here forever. Get the hot dog ""ripped"- that is, well done so it splits on a toasted bun. Fries are outstanding. A vintage roadside stand that beats them all, anywhere. Very old with no updates. Kitchy. Outside bathroom and parking. Serves a good burger...More

So, we had heard the stories. We had been regaled by New Jersey'ites about the fabled Hiram's. I must admit, they were right. This is one of those local institutions whose legend may outstrip reality, but who cares, it is awesome! Classic, old school hot...More

An institution but it's just regular dogs... I guess I'm not a connoisseur. Fries are hot but the cheese needs work. Nice place for casual snack especially if it's nice outside as they have seating.

The best Hot Dogs in New Jersey. That says it all. Do not forget the fries or onion rings. Sit in or take out. Always good.

This place has been running ever since I can remember. Technically, since 1930s. As a kid this would be such a treat. And today, as an adult, still is! I just went there to today after craving hot dogs and fries. Food is affordable, drinks...More

There is nothing quite like Hiram's. It's been here forever and it looks like nothing has changed from the beginning. The food is as good as hot dogs get. Enough said.

It's a New Jersey institution. Great for a quick meal, there's indoor seating and a picnic area during summer months. Simple, no-nonsense food, good to the last bite.

If you never had a fried hot dog, and NOT a corn dog, then you must stop here. The hot dog with mustard and relish has been served here for over 60 years. Parking is limited so be patient. This originally was a road side...More

Yes, Hiram's is still there. You may remember the hot dog establishment that was right next door, which had its own fans. Callahan's closed in 2006, was ultimately torn down and is now a bank site.
