We celebrated a birthday here and had dinner at Brian's before going to the theatre. Great little restaurant - I recommend you book a reservation because it's not a large space. They offered a prix fixe menu with a starter, entree and dessert. Very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and personable. Food was pretty good although some things tasted better... More

We made last minute reservations for a Wednesday evening. I understand it's usually harder to get a weekend reservation. The three course prix fixe menu is small but has many tempting starters, mains, and desserts you get to choose from. We both ordered the mushroom ravioli to start and it was excellent. For our main courses, we ordered the salmon... More

I still think Brian's is the best Lambertville has to offer, but Brian is off his game. The repetitive menu and the restaurant's absence of diner amenities, such as amuse bouche, leave the dining experience flat. I ordered the steak, which carried an upcharge, and was thoroughly disappointed. The cut of meat was not in line with the restaurant's reputation,... More

We had a large group of 14 and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding and a very comfortable atmosphere. It is BYOB, so the price was very reasonable. While it is fixed price, there was plenty to choose from. Everything was delicious!

Extraordinary! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday dinner at Brian's. Our cozy table-for-two was sandwiched between two other couples. Not that we were rubbing elbows but conversation with our new neighbors began immediately - "I see you brought along a bottle of German Riesling" came from the gentleman on my left. As I was showing him the bottle,... More

We had a wonderful prix fixe dinner (the only kind available). Both the food and ambiance were excellent and the dining room was quiet enough for conversation - a rarity these days. I especially liked bringing our own wine from the liquor store just across the parking lot. This restaurant, like most of the good ones in Lambertville, is closed... More

We often meet our best friends of 35 years that live in Princeton mid way in Lambertville for drinks & dinner and love Brian's. A drink at Lambertville Station starts the evening then a two block walk to Brian's where we were thrilled to find a changed menu with some delightful new selections as well as new decor. The dining... More

We had tried to get into Brian's on prior occasions, based on the uniformly outstanding reviews, but couldn't seem to make it happen. This time, we called well in advance and made a reservation for a Thursday evening during a short stay in the Lambertville-New Hope community. What a fabulous taste experience awaited us in our selections from the fixed... More

Did not meet expectations with service, food, cost. In fairness, I am a vegetarian and my partner is pescatarian. So our options were a little more limited. The mushroom bisque was tasty and a little rich.

We went with another couple on Saturday night. Everything about Brian's was terrific, especially the 3-course, divine meal and our beautiful, attentive waiter. The only detriment to the evening was that a table near us was celebrating a birthday and very noisy.
