My wife and I decided to stop in for a little bite on a Sunday night around 7PM. The restaurant was about half full. We both ordered a fresh roasted turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese. It was huge & very enjoyable. The service was good and best of all, we bought some of their homemade cookies from there bakery display.... More

I've frequented this dinner/restaurant many times and I've never been disappointed. Always busy and sometimes a bit noisy but worth a visit.

Sandwiches, breakfast and soups are very good. The owner used to own a Chinese restaurant, so try the Chinese dishes. I always get the vegetable stir fry. My friend loved the french toast, and my mother is a huge fan of the corned beef hash. Ritz would get higher marks if its service improved. Take out is hard, because the... More

When most places where closed on Christmas day, you can depend on the Ritz for being opened. The food is standard dependable and reliable as well. Its a pretty good dinner with a nice ambience.

The Ritz is a Livingston landmark and serves up some very good food at affordable prices. My favorite is their Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich and don't forget the French fries with gravy. Mmmm.

It definitely has the diner feel to it. Staff is friendly and inside is a good size. I always hear good things about this place and how it's one of the best diners around. I work right around here so I've come a few times and it's always reliable and has really good food. It's not a diner I'd put... More

Ritz Diner has the best apple pie I have ever had. I always order in advance for puck up on Thanksgiving. Everyone always raves about their pie! Employees are rude so I only go to pick up pies, never stay to eat off the menu.

Always busy, but food is always good. Good Diner that has been around for a while for as long as I can remember. Stop by for coffee and a nice selection of NJ baked pastries :) Can't go wrong with that. Or go with family or a group of friends for dinner . Call before if you have a large... More

to get a face lift, ie, new carpet and some updating. Yes, it's an institution and we all love the Ritz, but even the best of places can lose their footing. Last few times there, crowded seating, RUDE young woman who I asked for different table, threw the menus on the new table with a loud hmmmpf... and on and... More
