This is my families favorite Mexican restaurant spot. They serve authentic Mexican food and is reasonably priced. I would absolutely check this place out if you have never been.

We stopped for lunch and it was pretty crowded for a Tuesday. The service was good. The chicken chimichanga was tasty with lots of fresh meat. The Jefe special was good as well. Nice job, good hustle. The place could use some updating though.
When we are going to have a family dinner El Azteca is the unanimous choice every time and our family comes from Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. We followed them from Grant Ave in NE Philly. We have not found a comparable Mexican restaurant anywhere. We'd be there much more often, like the GOOD old days, if they were still... More
I love this place and have eaten her numerous times. The staff is very friendly and help and the food tastes amazing.
Have been going here for years and it's the only place to get fresh authentic Mexican food. Great atmosphere and the service is always wonderful and friendly
I am starting to try and go to places twice before I review. The first time at El Azteca … everything was delicious and the staff were friendly. Love that they have a vegetarian section of the menu. The second … everything was pretty awful. We ordered a crab burrito with rice and it tasted like a teaspoon of salt... More
El Azteca is our local ‘go to’ Mexican restaurant. We’ve eaten here many times over the years and always have a good experience. The food is authentic and the service is very friendly. It is a BYOB establishment, which we also enjoy. El Azteca usually has coupons in the local coupon books/magazines, so be sure to look for those if... More
Great place for a casual flavorful Mexican meal. Lots of choices, easy atmosphere. Good service, and very accommodating. We were seated before I realized it was BYOB, but they told me where the closest package store was and I zipped over while my companion stayed. They even carried the stuff in, as I was on crutches. I would recommend this... More
Tried this restaurant for the first time about a month ago. I've been back at least twice since. The food is so close to "real " Mexico. Portions are generous and food is very good. Staff is very friendly. I love those warm (free) chips they serve before you order. Better than bread!! Can't wait to go back, again and... More
Once I stumbled upon El Azteca I've been going at least once a week for close to 20years... I'm never tired of the food - I've tried many of their specialties - love the Jailisca platter now that I'm trying to eat 'cleaner' without any bread, and this platter is good for that..!
