This is a lot about the ambiance. Its NYC dining in New brunswick and I enjoyed the top notch service, steaks and great modern dishes. Kudos

We hadn't been to the F&TP in a few years but we were wowed again. We were there for our anniversary and I had mentioned it on my OpenTable reservation. They were waiting for us with a complimentary glass of bubbly :-) We had a wonderful meal, the wait team was incredible. I had the veal tartare (appropriately called the... More

Came here to have a nice dinner a few nights ago with my fiancé. I was expecting great food and high-quality and great service and that is what we received! We ordered the foie gras appetizer which was quite tasty and for the main course we had the shrimp and beans as well as the pork chop. Everything was cooked... More

we walked away unimpressed. First, parking: free parking is available, i'm sure, within a block or two, but you wouldn't know it. We were running late due to traffic conditions, and weren't able to investigate this, Instead, we were forced to valet park, adding another $15 on top of an already "gi-normous" tab Second: food was definitely above average, but... Started at the bar with drinks and VG oysters! Moved to our table and ordered wines and dinners. Our friend ordered the peach tasting menu, which was a 5 course menu that he enjoyed. My husband and I shared a salad of greens, nicely dressed. Then he ordered the mahi, which he usually doesn’t order, but got and enjoyed. I... More

I was at F&P for dinner in October 2016. The place has the look and feel of an upscale pub, cozy and dimly lit. The service area is divided in three sections, a bar and several guest tables on the lower level, and a few more small tables on the upper level. We were seated at the only open table... More

We recently went here for a business lunch. The food is delightful. It's unique, everything being carefully thought out and locally sourced food. I had the pulled duck sandwich and it was simply well done. After the main course is where we ran into a problem. No one came to check on us during the meal until it was time... More

I like this restaurant because of the ambiance, the food and the seasonally changing menu. As usual, I ate at the bar. They have a very nice wine list with many by-the-glass wines. An appetizer of veal tartare with a quail egg was chopped not ground, the right way to do it. It was excellent. I then had a BBQ... More
