Food was barely warm. My French Toast wasn't hot enough to melt butter. And it came with syrup already poured on it. And it was FREEZING inside. Our waitress said they were short 2 servers but still did well by us,even though every table was filled at 10:30 on a Saturday morning.

This is a traditional NY style diner located near the Rutgers campus. This is a regular stop for breakfast when I visit the University, always for breakfast. Lots of good choices for breakfast. Service was decent, but a little slow. Will definitely go back next time I am in town.

It's always good, nothing too fancy but generous portions. Lots of choices on the menu and a special menu for each day of the week.

For a state that's known for great diners, living here 8 years, I haven't found many that can cut the mustard. Oftentimes the food is bad, the waitstaff less than pleasant, the operating hours uneven, and the prices too expensive. I've lived in four towns in Central and North Jersey and have yet to find a diner comparable to Omega... More

Typical nj diner, but nothing special on the menu. It had all your typical breakfast options and can seat lots of people. It was fairly full Saturday AM, meaning it seems to be a local spot. It's hard to mess up eggs and bacon and they did not.

We had an early morning meeting and decided to hold it at the Omega Diner. The service was very good and attentive. I actually chose something from the lunch menu and my cohorts had breakfast fare. People were happy with their choices. I ate half of my sandwich (it was large) and had the other half the next day. We... More

Best local diner value. Quick service and good coffee. Open dining room and lots of short walk parking. Consistent food quality.

Who new? Seriously, Omega serves Matzo Ball Soup and it is Great! You order a cup and out comes a bowl with delicious chicken broth and sitting in the middle is the biggest, lightest and fluffiest Matzo Ball you will ever eat. And trust me, as a Jew who grew up in New York City, I know good Matzo Ball... More
