It was a beautiful crisp day in February. Being that we were local to the shore area, we thought we'd give an old local spot the business and go get some ice cream. I attempted to go to the window outside but there wasn't a posted list of flavors. So we went inside the establishment and asked what flavors were... More

I've eaten here several times. It was a pharmacy in the past and that notion is carried as an old soda fountain restaurant. I had a tuna sandwich on rye that came with potato chips. No effort was made to add some flavor to the tuna, empty the can into a tablespoon of mayo and slap it on the bread.... More

I liked the places, decoration is peculiar and pretty. Turkey dish was delicious but salmon needs more flavor, same as the vegetable side dish.

Good food and great atmosphere... loved looking at all the old items hanging on the walls. Will visit again.

Nice to find a good eat type of place - old world charm and delicious food. So much food and homemade, could not eat it all. Definitely recommend - especially for families - old fashion drug store soda fountain counter.

We went for lunch, it was very good. The service was awesome. It was nice and quiet but we didn't expect much less than this for a mid afternoon visit. We of course had to have ice cream after lunch. Lunch, we both got wraps and everything was very fresh. The decor of this establishment is quite nostalgic. It is... More

This place is known for the ice cream which looked amazing , but we had the burgers because we just stopped in before dinner. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and the history of this restaurant. Will be back in the summer time .

It a must on any of our trips to Ocean Grove, whether a day at the beach or an overnight stay at a bed and breakfast, stopping at Nagels for an ice cream cream cone at this "old fashioned" cafe is a must. The line at the outdoor order window on summer evenings is worth the wait!

If you want some local flavor in an old fashioned apothecary this is it. Don't expect gourmet food as it is like the "old days" with some new twists. It's a very popular place for ice cream, but we prefer Day's around the corner for ice cream. It has decent sandwiches and salads and some good hot offerings. It's all... More

Nagle's is like many old fashioned diners. Relaxing atmosphere, good place to hang out with friends and family. My aunt took me to Nagle's while staying in Ocean Grove. I hope to be back.
