I stopped here after the Giant's game, did not have a reservation; but was seated quickly. The appetizer selection was limited but delicious. We had the beef tips, garlic shrimp, and crispy garlic. The portion size was ample and easily fed two. The dinner was just as tasty and portion size easily filled two. There is a sharing charge of... More

If you like flavorless large cuts of meat this place is for you. Everything else was horrible mussels appetizers disgusting. The broth was like they threw in a couple handfuls of flour to make it thick...why would you do that.. Really tasteless and not quality ingrediants. Unpeeled garlic shrimp disgusting. Chiorizo appetizer...one thinly sliced overcooked sausage was putrid. The place... More

El Cid is a great place to eat and the steaks are excellent. My favorite place to go for Spanish food. My favorite is the shrimp and garlic appetizer. If you don't arrive before 7 pm for dinner then plan to wait by the bar it gets very busy on the weekends. Well worth the wait. The red and white... More

It's difficult for me to find fault with this place, although we paid over $400 all in for 4 diners! Saturday nite never ends with the steady stream of patrons. No reservations on Fri/Sat so we had a 45 minute wait, which was exactly what we were told. There's no sitting at the bar either, unless you get lucky. Lots... More

Recommended by a friend, we, a company of 6, arrived to El Cid at 18:30. The place do not hold reservations and an hour later, it was packed. We ordered shrimp and chorizos for starts, prime rib, sirloin and lobsters for main. The quality of the meat and lobsters was top notch and they were made to perfection. We ended... More

We didn't have a very good waitress. We needed to ask for bread, water, tea multiple times. She took away food before we were done. I ordered coffee and tea was brought. And so the night continued. It took along time for the main course to arrive. We were with friends so we didn't mind too much.

Food is always good. Huge portions to be shared. Gets very busy on Friday nights and weekends but worth it.

Had a small family get together after a funeral and have to say everything was fantastic. Food was great, almost everybody took food home they give you so much, my brother took home so much prime rib it could feed his family of four. Had the paella and it was superb, brought home enough for another meal as did my... More
