Very good tapas style food right in downtown Princeton. They are very delicious and of the highest quality. Would D efinitely recommend!

As luck would have it, I 'found' this place on Trip Advisor while looking for a restaurant that served brunch on Sunday. I am not from the area and had the opportunity to meet my son for 2 hours (who happened to be in the area). The atmosphere, the wait staff, the natural lighting, the décor and especially the food... Three family members and I went to Mistral for brunch on a Sunday in mid-February. This restaurant has a lot going for it, but there were too many negatives for an overall good review. I'll start with the positives. This is a pretty place, with an open, spacious feel; a fun-to-watch open kitchen; an outdoor patio with heat lamps and... More

Great reception with helpful staff answering our requests without a problem. We tried the Crudo (scallops), the steak tartare. and each of us had a lunch plate. The raw scallops were a real delicacy, prepared in lime with herbs. I could have had a meal of that. The steak tartare was scrumptious. Served on fried tendons (rather insipid), the meat... More

Repeat visit, WITH reservations to this popular restaurant. I can be noisy in the dining area, and the noisier bar is in another room the other side of the entrance. Service is friendly and the waiting staff is knowledgeable. The food tastes good, is varied per season and certainly good looking in presentation. The layout is a bit Spartan, minimalistic... More

Good way to try small portions of different food variety. Little less options for vegetarian but overall nice place. Good service, open kitchen, ambiance and wine.

If you like tapas and like intense flavors the artisan chef at Mistral delivers each plate an experience of its own. Your palate will be stretched by the spices, the sweet and the sour the textured and eye fetching creations. We were devotees of Elements at the original location and were excited by the concept of small plates/tapas in downtown... More

Went for dinner. Delicious tapas! They had lamb ribs a special (yes ribs not chops) . Awesome! Service was good, but I did have to slow them down a little bit as the Tapas were coming out too quickly.

They have been in town for a few years, it's the same owner at elements and now both are in the same building (one downstairs one upstairs). Very innovative menu, always changing. Local fresh ingredients. Great bar. Great feel to the place. It's really just a nice, tad pricy experience
