These guys are the real deal. There are allot of Japanese restaurants that say they are Japanese but they are not Japanese trained. It really makes a difference in the way the food is prepared. Freshness is the key. The fish is always fresh and never questionable. There is a small sushi bar and it is BYOB. If you can... More

Quality of food is great - authentic too! It's easy to overlook this place in the strip mall. I've eaten once or twice before and came back ... Delicious! I totally enjoyed the tempura and chicken teriyaki lunch dish while my family member enjoyed his sushi platter

This JAPANESE family owned and operated restaurant is by far the best Japanese food in State of New Jersey!!! I grew up in Somerset and had privelege to eat there for over 15 years. Yoshi and his family are Japanese NOT Korean, Chinese or Thai so try to eat off the seasonal menu which is now translated to English. Yoshi... More

The food here is authentic and delicious. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. It was a real treat to enjoy great food made with a lot of care. The portions are perfect, you will not leave hungry. We will be sure to visit next time we ate in town.

I've discovered this place only recently and it seems to be truly authentic. Delicious sushi and sashimi. Their chirashi dish is super yummy. Noodle soups are tasty as well. Not cheap but reasonable. Definitely recommended!

I have been to this place many years ago. I used to order the Bento Box combinations. This is such a pleasant place to be. It's not big though, small and cozy, and very busy. These days, I am ordering the Chirashi Bowl Deluxe. I am not s sea food fan, let alone raw sea food. But it's handled very... More

I had the hot soba soup with Shrimp Tempura and it was by far the best one I have ever tasted in the states. Price is a little on a pricey side, but I think it was worth the price. Definitely recommend.

My favorite Japanese in the area. I am a regular here, eat here 1-2 times a month and it never disappoints! The sushi and sushimi quality is top notch. The temputa is the best you can find. All the specials are truly special and deserve a look. This isn't Americanized fake sushi, the authentic stuff from Japan.

This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in central NJ. A Japanese colleague introduced me to the place, saying the food is as good as any neighborhood Japanese restaurant back home. His favorite is the eel. All I know is that the food is fantastic and truly Japanese (I've only been to Japan twice but take my colleagues word),... More
