Been there several times. The daily specials are always good, Really down to earth home style cooking. Friendly staff, nice, homey décor. You can bring your own wine or liquor, as they don't serve any. Always enjoyed it.

This place was always good till recently. Tables were sticky ,waitress just ran rag over quickly. Bread on racks out in open , no cover and flies landing on loaves. They keep pies on open racks on left side of restaurant . People are seated directly in front and when leaning even slightly back get clothes or hair on pies.... More

This is one of these places that my husband has passed my countless times during his sales calls, and this time we were together and were able to stop. The food was good and the desserts were even better. One waitress for the lunch crowd was not sufficient, but she somehow got the job done. *They do not take credit... More

I was there for lunch in August. The meatloaf sandwich was good but the pasta salad needed to be reworked. This is a family owned restaurant and I will go back. They do not serve breakfast fare all day and they do not take credit cards. Get away from chain restaurants and try a small local restaurant. Their bread is... More

This is one of the old time restaurants that's still around. Everything is homemade here including their potato salad and Cole slaw which is just delicious. Their menu is interesting with a variety of dishes and everything is very reasonably priced and truly delicious. If you're in the neighborhood just stop in. You won't be disappointed.

I stopped in recently for dinner as my wife was working and I mistakenly went to a meeting a week early. I had my heart set on meatloaf,of which I ordered, and it was FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS!! I've recently been stopping for coffee, and not only is it less expensive than Most places,it's consistent in taste and flavor!! Always a Great place... More
