Made reservations for dining room expecting a nice dinner. Got seated in a cold loud cafeteria setup. Food and service were both good. Atmosphere was awful.

Service was poor, wrong drink order delivered and then - the meal was delivered without an entire entree. When i spoke to mgr -- he acted as if it was our fault and said "she didn't hear your order"--- I decided to even up for...the drinks and go to another place where common sense and courtesy was present. He gave me the bill and the second round of drinks were added--- i asked for them to be removed because we didn't touch them and they were for our dinner. He became arrogant and quote" do us a favor and don't come back". WOW -- first you mess up our drink order then you mess up the dinner order and its my issue. don't worry bottos --- we wont come back.... but we will spread the word of the terrible customer satisfaction you provided.More

I loved my chicken Marsala and my Mixed drinks were good. My husband said his seafood pasta was good not great. Staff were attentive. Patio dining was lovely

We are from out of the area and went on friends suggestions . Wow from the atmosphere to the meal . Everything was fabulous! Portions are large and the flavor !!! Their appetizer with their sausage over provolone bread ! Fantastic! This place is a...10 ! We are even trying to figure out a road trip to come back !!More

Although this restaurant was featured on one of Gordon Ramsey's twisted and scripted restaurant makeover shows, we found this restaurant a hidden gem of the Swedesboro community. Our smiling server delivered several courses with gourmet quality dishes. Our appetizer had the best calamari that we...had ever eaten... and that's after 30 years of business travel dining! I had a special - lobster ravioli - which was glorious. My wedge salad was scrumptious. Good food, but at a price. It wasn't cheap! But it was worth it. Be sure not to miss this welcoming place while here. We'll be back.More

I LOVE Botto’s! They have amazing food! I have had the chicken sliders and takeout chicken parm from there. The chicken sliders were absolutely delicious, I would eat them again, and I highly recommend them! When I ordered the chicken parm, they truly gave me...the bang for my buck! They gave me such a HUGE portion of chicken parm that I had leftovers for several days, and of course, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Take it from a local, you NEED to eat at Botto’s!More

Last night, we ordered takeout. The wings left a lot to be desired. I would not order them again. The pizza was delicious! Margarita Pizza and pepperoni pizza were amazing! Whole family loved them. Today my daughter picked up a couple of pieces of pizza...for me for dinner tonight... I was really looking forward to them. Unfortunately there were nothing like what we had last night. So much breading and skimpy topping! I had two different types and they were both terrible! This place is local and I want to support them...but they need to be consistent with their foods. Wish I had pictures to display. I just assumed the pizza would be as good as the pizza last night...wrong!More

First time at this restaurant with friends, one of which had been there previously and wanted to have dinner there. Hoping for a good meal, I was very disappointed from start to finish. First of all service was not the best. We got drinks. Mine...was a mediocre tasting lemonade. Waitress did not bring out bread. We had to ask her for it. My side salad was nothing but a wedge of cold iceberg lettuce with a few crumbles of feta cheese sitting on top. Balsamic dressing was not balsamic but some tasteless concoction. I ordered pasta with bolognese sauce. The sauce was nothing but marinara with some ground beef in it and was not good. My friend who was there before was disappointed in her chicken parm as well. The other friend had chicken francais which she said was tasty. Needless to say we did not have any dessert and coffee. Not going back.More

Winter Saturday dinner at Botto's was a treat for the family. Small menu, clean surroundings, staff pretty well trained. Kate handled our party well, couple things like putting silverware back after clearing all the forks, maybe. We had a 1 year old and the high...chair was clean, according to the moms in the group who inspected it. Bathrooms stocked, clean, accessible. Seems app portions were a little lacking, albeit we were sharing multiple hot and cold items, we all could have used a taste more. I don't believe pasta was made in house, fresh halibut was outstanding, Scallops overcooked. Eggplant Parm was a decent portion. not much in the way of veal considering there is a famous meat store connected to the name and premise. I would definitely go back , but to eat from the pub menu. Great local professional crowd and family friendly.More

The sausage appetizer we ordered was unique and delicious. We had the Sea Bass special and Veal Chop both dinners were delicious!

My wife, daughters, and I celebrated Valentine’s Day 2020 dinner (post Chef Ramsay remodel). The parking lot was packed but we were immediately shown to our table in the beautiful main dining room. Our server Patrick was attentive, friendly, and professional. He explained the various...specials, of which we selected two incredible cocktails. Our clams casino and crab bisque appetizers were brought shortly after the drinks, were warm and delicious. Not long after finishing the appetizers, Patrick checked in to ensure our meals would be out soon. When they arrived they were accurate, hot, and wonderful. Everything was better than we could have expected. Portion sizes were exactly right—not a gluttonous amount, but plenty to fill us and allow for takeaway boxes for a light lunch the next day. We wanted to look at the dessert menu but sadly didn’t have room for it. The pacing of the meal was perfect and the service was spectacular despite the busy holiday evening. At no point did we wait for long and we never felt rushed. The restaurant was full but the environment was calm and we could quietly and privately converse comfortably. Botto’s is on top of their game and we can’t wait to return as a family and with friends and loved ones. Thanks for the perfect Valentine’s dinner with the 3 women I love.More

My daughter asked to go to Bottos for her birthday dinner. It was the first time we had been there since the makeover. All 5 of us loved our apps and entrees. Service was wonderful and the dining room looked great. We will be back...for sure!More
