Food was only fair. Use to visit on rare occasions for a burger. Since this establishment posted their position on hiring illegals I will no longer give them my business. It is disgraceful that they hire illegals, boast about it and actually gave them the day off with pay while legal US citizens had to work.

Love the new, updated look. My family has lived here for almost twenty years and always avoided this place because it looked rundown. Noticed they were observing the Day Without Immigrants, so decided to drop in - and the exterior looked freshened up. Clearly something had changed. We walked in and immediately loved the ambience and the beautiful wood tones... More

If you are in the area, you must try the wings at the Light House Tavern! Actually, my friends and I enjoyed sampling the fried calamari, bacon-wrapped scallops, clams casino and, of course the wings! For the main meal, my friends enjoyed the dublin street reuben, a jersey pork roll & cheese, a prime rib sandwich, a rajun cajun burger,... More

Ever since they changed chefs, this place hasn't been the same, the wings are still the best around but that's about it. I was a little shocked when I saw another local bar packed and this place had only a couple cars in the front, I just hope it doesn't fade into a has been bar.

The Lighthouse Tavern on February 16, 2017 had given their kitchen employees a paid day off to protest A Day with out Immigrants. His bar was open to serve drinks only and served by US Citizens whom had to go to work for the day to earn their pay. Ironic isn't it? He admitted that he is paying for an... More

I have been going to the Lighthouse Tavern for over 50 years. Has always been a great "local bar" in every sense of the word. Recently heard it was going "upscale", a great surprise as there is nothing else nearby. Went there a week ago. It still has the big, noisy bar; shuffle board, foosball, pool tables and the beer... Consistently good food, nice atmosphere, terrific wait staff, we are "regulars". Burgers are great, fish sandwich could not be any fresher.
