Great burgers & interesting appetizers. Grab a seat at the bar or high top tables - good place to meet up with friends

Nice to finally have a place in town that serves good food, has a full bar, offers good service and all at a reasonable price. The location/building for this restaurant has gone through several owners/restaurant names over the years, but they just didn't offer what the locals wanted. Finally a great places for burgers, sandwiches and salads, plus prime rib... More

We didn't have reservations and the place was jammed on a Wednesday night. A staff member suggested we take the (last) high top table and she would try to get us a table within ten minutes. And she did! Service was great, attentive, friendly. The food was really good and the serving so large that I took mine home and,... More

We stopped here for take out after a day exploring the area. We didn't know what they served and so did not call ahead. The hostess greeted us warmly and took our order right away. She let us sit at an empty table while we waited for our food, made us feel welcome and kept us updated on our order.... More

The Rail is a great place to eat. There is a bar surrounded by large flat screen TV's and tall round bar tables. There is also a place to sit off to the side or upstairs if your are not interested at sitting at the bar. The food at the rail if fabulous from the appetizers to the main dishes.... More

Tasted lots of burgers in my day and the best so far is the burgers at The Rail. Juicy, to your desired perfection in a good tasting bun. Owner comes around to ask how was your meal and are you satisfied! Will return with more friends in the future for sure.

The Rail has a nice atmosphere, a good beer selection, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. As for the food, it is edible but just so-so. I've tried a few of their seafood with pasta dishes and they are okay, but seem to be missing something. Overall not a bad experience, but perhaps Chef Ramsey needs to come... More

Decided to try this place and we weren't disappointed. It's quaint inside and conveniently located on Route 523. Food was excellent.
