As a regular at this farm restaurant set amongst huge shady trees I cannot fault this establishment for constantly good food and friendly service. The staff are always greet you with a welcoming smile ! The fish cake salad was delicious and the lemon meringue is a MUST! The sea bass was exceptional and the wild mushroom risotto splendid. Cafe BobBon is a wonderful setting for an open air breakfast particularly the famous Eggs Benedict. Cafe BonBon is justifiably proud of their hollandaise sauce made fresh each time for every diner! It was even the choice of a top class Franschoek restaurant chef the morning we were there Lovely service from very nice staff

The setting is beautiful, tranquil and very well maintained. The outside seating is lovely and the more formal restaurant, which is open certain evenings of the week, has a rustic look and feel. The food was excellent and the service great. Maggie, our waitress, is a master at the balancing trick: she was there when we needed her, she read... More

Delightful setting - good food - knowledgeable about gluten free diet. Difficult access for wheelchair users. Largest chicken in the world walking amongst the tables!

This restaurant was recommended by our South African friends and is not to be missed. Pianist plays in the evening and the house rooster(not on menu!) sits under the serving table. This was a last minute booking. Will definately go again next year.

The string for this alfresco cafe is lovely in every way. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are decorated in a most tasteful way. We were the first to arrive for lunch yet it took quite some time to place our order. My crispy chicken salad was good except for the vinaigrette which was quite highly seasoned with what... More

Visited here last Friday evening. Beautiful barn setting, tastefully appointed, warm atmosphere. Duck salad and calamari strips for starters followed by rib of beef (x2), beautifully prepared and presented. Good choice of wines including by the glass to accompany the cheese platter. Polo was our waitress- charming, pleasant, helpful and a credit to the business.
