The restaurant was recommended by our hosts at the Marula lodge. The welcome at the restaurant was very friendly and professional. The service staff is very well trained and friendly. The food was outstanding (lamb shank and steak dish). The creme brullee was the ending of a great dinner.

Had a lovely meal there on my way to Cape Town. The restaurant is obvious very busy and we were lucky to find the last space indoors. You can sit outsideas well where a large fire is burning. We have steak and it was well prepared and the service sharp

Under New ownership since 1 December 2010, it became a Family Restaurant serving Local Cuisine and Traditional South African Dishes, including; Bobotie, Game Pie, Kudu Fillet, Springbok Shank, Malva Pudding. We stock some of the regions finest wines and have a fully stocked bar. A big fire will be burning in the evenings if the weather allows to welcome all to a romantic night of the best South Africa have to offer.
