We loved this little restaurant- all in pink. Good fresh food, and service with a smile. We had a late morning breakfast, which was very good. We can really reccommend this place with it's beautiful setting under the oak trees. On our return to Swellendam we will definately visit again.

Travelling back along the N2 from Plettenburg bay to Cape Town we decided to stop at Swellendam for lunch. I missed my turning and came upon this little street cafe. The food was great and very inexpensive. Would definately recommend if you are looking for a light lunch.

This café is close to the museum and other historical buildings in Swellendam. The perfect place to stop between visits. The tables outside, under a tree, were perfect (out of the sun but still a view of the trees and mountain). The food was great and was presented wonderfully. My toasted sandwich with chips was good but my husband’s Bobotie... More

Lunch time pit stop. The bobotie tramazini was very good. Apparently their range of cakes are legendary so we tried the strawberr cheese cake which kept their reputation strong and was as good as can be expected. Several parties of overseas guests were also there suggesting a history of good fare. Would visit again

Cosy place with decent food in a nice, leafy neighbourhood of Swellendam. We stopped for lunch on the way to Cape Town and really enjoyed it.

Nice stop along the way from Mossel Bay to Cape Town, or other way around. The best food during our trip to South Africa, really home-made and well-cooked. Family-run business makes it home-like, friendly and service-oriented, waiting time was at least appropriate. Nice for small children as well, something for everybody! Highly recommended!

Stop here. It's good value for money and the food tastes homemade. Happy to recommend. Bit off the road, but worth the effort.
