Romantic Dinner at Shima!

Awesome dinner, great ambience

Beautiful place for dinner, the restaurant is ambient and you can choose to sit at your own table or around the teppanyaki grill plate for dinner and a show. We loved the tempura vegetables, rib eye fillets, gyoza, and the drinks were yummy too. The...chef "Daddy" did a wonderful job at pacing the cooking of everyone's menu choices, so that we all ended up finishing together (3 separate groups) which was wonderful. Highly recommend and wish we went back again during this stay, so many great options to choose from!More

10/10 Japanese dining

My partner and I went to dinner here on our last night in Bali. Hands down easily one of, if not the best, Japanese/ teppanyaki food we have ever had before! Ingredients were absolutely top notch quality, service was amazing and Ray the owner is...a lovely guy who took the time to introduce himself to everyone who came in. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate and would definitely come back here next time we’re in Bali. Couldn’t recommend higher!!More

Amazing Chef Attraction and Best Lobster

Food are amazing, especially the lobster! staff is super friendly and welcome. I was served by Chef Arya and he made a beautiful attraction during the cook. Variety of Japanese food. Worth to try!

Best teppanyaki

Amazing food and experience. Highly recommended for a great night out with friends and family! Superb food, beautiful decor, friendly staff and awesome atmosphere! Food was better than the excellent teppanyaki we’re used to in Australia!

EXCELLENT JAPANESE RESTAURANT, SEMINYAK

A very good evening was spent here. The food (sashimi and teppanyaki) was tops. Lovely teppanyaki chef, attentive staff and a quick hello from the owner (Ray from Perth!) made it gastronomically very satisfying (we doubled up on the sashimi plate). Although sparsely populated, the...restaurant has a very good ambience and setting. If you love Japanese-style cuisine, don't miss it!More

Amazing chef

Very good food with amazing service of Chef Budi and team! The tiger prawns with chefs teriyaki sauce was super good, fresh barramundi, and the tenderloin with an outstanding fried rice. Thank you for the hospitality.

Great service and experience

Read great reviews about Shima on TripAdvisor and had to give it a try on my visit to Bali. The chef didn't disappoint, showcasing his repertoire of skills and entertained everyone, including a small little surprise to end off the dinner.

Best tepanyaki in seminyak bali.

Delicious food and friendly staff also very attentive, tried the meat and lobster its super good. They have good quality meat. You can have it with family and friends and also they have nice VIP room.

Great food and venue!

Lovely food, friendly staff and good atmosphere

An artist at work

In April a group of 8 attended this beautiful restaurant. We had our own booth, fantastic service with an artist cooking beautiful fresh food. I had no idea that we would be delivered such a memorable experience. The chef had us laughing & was constantly...interacting with us as he performed tricks with his cooking utensils. The meal including some cocktails, beers, soft drinks & a banquet that included soup, barramundi, wagyu & prawns, desert etc came to $660 AUD In Australia this would have been close to $1600 for 8 people. I totally recommend this place. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos on my phone if the food.More
